Atzeni executed the plan to perfection just like I said. Went flat early on as well so it was a great run. People are so dumb its unbelievable if the horse wasnt flying do you really think Varian would run? Technically this was the end of the season target for Postponed besides the Arc and they was adamant that he needs the 10F on his Group 1 CV!
Never in any danger!
Laughing all the way to the bank! What a ridiculous price!!!
Postponed wouldn’t even need to be fit, he would win at 80%.
He was fine last time they just made an excuse on purpose because it’s very important he wins group races over 10f. I’ll tel you one thing, come tomorrow I guarantee he will be more than ready!
I honestly don’t know why there is such a big fuss about this race, it is very very simple. Postponed is overpriced if anything! 6/4 to win this race? Its not even group level. If he didn’t win this by 3 or more and easily I would be extremely surprised.
Your talking about the best racehorse around this year by distance!
None of these races recently have been group 1 standard all terrible! Id be surprised if that stiff Ribchester ever wins a race again at Wolverhampton!
Zelzal….can’t even run on a straight mile and would of still won that donkey race by 15 lengths! Haha what a terrible race that was. Ribchester seriously a group 1 winner? Come on that’s a listed horse! The colts are so weak this year it’s terrible!
Limatsssss! Shouldn’t have to come of snag. Never do ante post but the fact he was supplemented had to get some good money on the 4s…he will be very short come race time
Charlton **** himself, if Postponed wasnt in the race im sure Time Test would take his chance!
Zelzal different league to GG but I wouldnt be confident over the straight mile, round course Zelzal wins it easily.
Nothing to think about, don’t even check the race just get everything on postponed when there is nrnb available! One of the biggest certs I’ve ever seen, he will come tanking around the the bend, shaken up a little, put back on snag, shaken up again to assert!
Great race, if it was over 5 then Lady Aurelia would probably be very hard to beat…over 6 I think Caravaggio will show he is a proper champion!!
Hope everything turns up, complete monster race. Lady Aurelia really fav to beat Caravaggio? Come off it!
He had the confidence and knew he could get away it in them types of races. In the Arc you only get one chance. He dosent seem to ride French tracks well in my opinion, chantilly/longchamp he isn’t brilliant and at the curragh! These 3 tracks he struggles…always too far back! Minding is the fastest horse in arc and has to sweep late. If she gets into a staying battle she’s no chance.
If any horse raced him him over 2mile 4f to 3mile 2f last season, past or present he would of hammered them its as simple as that. Obviously we dont know if he can jump yet but we shall see.
Two horse race, whether Minding can peg back Postponed or not. I like Le Cressioniere too but Minding is a level above her. A lot will depend on draw and positioning.
Lady Aurelia is a machine, everyone should avoid that, she will never be beaten over 5 the only horse that could touch her over 6 is Caravaggio but he won’t go for the morny, he is going to the Phoenix on Sunday.
Thistlecrack probably the best jumps horse I have ever seen in terms of performances, probably looks the best to. Don’t think any race horse could tank along with him then when he is let go they definitely won’t.
Vautours performance at Cheltenham was the best I had ever saw until Thistlecracks!
If he goes chasing and can jump as good as he hurdles then there is only one winner in next years gold cup!
