Lady Aurelia is a firm favourite for this and rightfully so after a breathtaking performance at Royal Ascot and she will get the fillies allowance but at 1/2 current best price in a race which should provide stiffer competition and an extra furlong is she worth taking on…?
I think she maybe but you’d want something very good to be taking her on with. Caravaggio would be ideal, what a race that would be, Aiden will most likely keep him at home though.
Mehmas would be of slight interest and doesn’t know how to run a bad race, if Lady Aurelia did have any stamina issues he’d be one to expose them and at 5/1 could be an each way shot to nothing but he also has an entry in the Grimcrack around about the same date.

Lady Aurelia is a machine, everyone should avoid that, she will never be beaten over 5 the only horse that could touch her over 6 is Caravaggio but he won’t go for the morny, he is going to the Phoenix on Sunday.

Just had a bit on Tis Marvellous E/W 3 places @ 8-1. I watched his maiden win and Papin win and he’s maybe being a bit overlooked altogether.

Great race, if it was over 5 then Lady Aurelia would probably be very hard to beat…over 6 I think Caravaggio will show he is a proper champion!!

Lady Aurelia only shades favoritism.
I missed the 2’s Paddy were going Caravaggio but took 13/8, even that has dried up now.
I think if they both turn up on the day the prices will flip flop. Caravaggio could still go elsewhere so hence why Lady Aurelia is currently fav. I really hope they both run as it would be a great spectacle.

I think Caravaggio would have won on that showing. I backed him but he never turned up. You just can”t trust what the trainers say and that’s the gamble as Jim Bowen would say.

Racing Post Ratings had Lady Aurelia running to 112 in the Morny. That is 11 lbs lower than the mark she was given at Royal Ascot.

Al Johrah was seven lengths behind at Ascot but only about one length today.
