Coolmore, Ward and Stonestreet are all tight, they breed and own horses together. I can see Lady Aurelia stepping aside for Caravaggio in the Morny and Acapulco stepping aside for Lady Aurelia in the Nunthorpe.

Interesting read Botchy. From that Lady Aurelia wins the Morny, Caravaggio goes to the Middle Park and is currently unbackable for the 2000 guineas.

Unbackable for the Guineas? On that link above O’Brien says he doesn’t know if the horse will ever get a mile.

As to speed, visually, Caravaggio looks to take an awful lot longer than Lady Aurelia to get going. Running at 45mph is good, but blunted somewhat if it takes two furlongs to accelerate! :)

My thinking about him being unbackable is that he’s 4/1 favorite yet is remaining at 6f and AOB has cast doubt a couple of times about him getting a mile. There’s a winter to get through yet and other horses to improve so 4/1 seems crazy to me, I’d want double that at least. 4/1 would be about right if he’d won well in the Dewhurst imo.

Ah, right, I misunderstood you Andy. I thought you meant he’d gone ridiculously short, which, in context I suppose he is at 4s.

There’s a gentleman on twitter (Adam Webb) reporting that Acapulco has been withdrawn from the Nunthorpe. I can’t see any market movement to support it though.

If you look at her entries on Racing Post there is no betting for the Nunthorpe, so the rumour that Acapulco
does not go could be true..

Good choice Botchy and as long as no rain Goldream should definitely run and 14/1 looking good now….he’s going to be a tough nut to crack over his best distance and as I said in my earlier post above Robert Cowell thinks the world of him. Good luck.

Silver Rainbow to be supplemented for £30k so had a small bet at 33s

She’s pregnant. Two for the price of one.

What’s the weight allowance for a foal? :)

Limatsssss! Shouldn’t have to come of snag. Never do ante post but the fact he was supplemented had to get some good money on the 4s…he will be very short come race time

No one else like Easton Angel then?

Think she has been very unlucky not to remain unbeaten so far this season. Was given a woeful ride at York when getting chinned by the useful Marsha, and I am certain she would have won at Goodwood had the gaps appeared, had loads left.

Also,I’m no jockey basher, but I’d say Mulrennan jumping ship and choosing Mecca’s Angel and getting Frankie up is a major plus as well.

Getting a few pound as well which always helps.

    12/1 @ Joe’s…will do for me. :good:

I’ve backed Limato and Yalta aswell, but at current prices think Easton Angel is the value MC. Not sure about blaming the jockey, but I agree she’s better than last two races suggest. :good:

Will Dettori stay on EA if MA is a non-runner due to the ground?

Interesting point about what will happen if MA is a NR,and something that I foolishly hadn’t considered before now.

Still,if the worst happens,PM knows the horse well and should know how to ride her by now hopefully!
