Farage will be leading the calls for an election if Starmer goes.

To borrow a phrase, he knows Reform will be toast by 2029.

The man’s a complete idiot, that’s what. You could at least try to cite people with some semblance of credibility.

Quoting Chris Philp, the man who didn’t know Rwanda and the Congo were different countries?

    😂

“The fact he also lied, misled the House and then tried to cover it up…”

At the risk of being accused of shirking from home again, I must ask where Starmer did any of those things.

“Presumably the Post is eschewing facts to have a pop at Hendo as well.”

Yes, they are. It’s nothing but conjecture.

Newmarket isn’t as undulating as Cheltenham; did Henderson pull him out of the Supreme or the Champion Hurdle?

People here love to eschew facts to have a pop at Hendo.

“More far right people are calling for Starmer to resign. Such as, erm, the Green Party..”

Hardly news: Polanski has been calling for Starmer to step down for well over a month now. It’s not exactly a genius move by the Greens – it is in their best interests for this incompetent “Labour” government to keep stumbling along and haemorrhaging votes to its left.

Channel 4 News have been interviewing the public in the run-up to the elections. One fellow said that he has always voted Labour but he is deserting them this time as they no longer stand for the working man. Fair enough – I agree with him. Then he said that he was going to vote for Reform. Yeah – Nige has really got the working man’s interests at heart, you total numbskull.

    The mind boggles.

Answer the question . What has it cost the country?

And I didn’t see you calling for Bozo’s head when he showed a complete lack of respect for his office (and the entire country).

Yet another mountain being made out of a molehill by the rightwing media.

Yes, it shows appalling judgment from Starmer. But what actual damage did it do? Unlike the real damage caused by Brexit, Bozo, Truss and Farage…

Fill in the blank: Brexit costs the UK an estimated £90 bn a year, Johnson’s clueless reaction to Covid cost the UK thousands of lives unnecessarily, Truss cost the UK economy billions, Mandelson’s appointment cost the UK ________

Answers on a postcard to the usual address.

It has to be borne in mind that Moore wasn’t riding for the Coolmore hype machine that day and didn’t have to sell Constitution Hill as a potential stallion.

Ourfight.uk appears to be another of those organisations which conflate the dislike of the actions of Netanyahu’s extremist government with dislike for all Jews.

They are not the same thing.

And, lest we forget, Zack Polanski is Jewish.

“I’m not exaggerating when I say people are being completely and utterly brainwashed.”

Sadly, you are exaggerating: to be brainwashed, they’d need to have brains.

If Green Party candidates (or anyone else) are making antisemitic statements, they should be deselected and their party membership revoked. The same applies to any form of discrimination, although it’s funny how the rightwing media turn a blind eye to the rampant islamophobia espoused by both Reform and the Conservatives.

As for the Alfie Rees “scandal”, the only mentions of it I can find are from Reform candidate (and former Tory MP) Ben Bradley on X and Reform Oxfordshire on Facebook. Even the Reform-supporting BBC Essex have no mention of the story.

Getting back to Labour, Reeves was absolutely correct (I never thought I would be typing those words) in what she said in the USA yesterday: this is a pointless war which is causing great damage to normal people around the world for no valid reason.

    “Many more green suspension’s today”

What are you waffling on about now? I’ve been at work all day; just done a quick search and couldn’t see anything on this. 🤷‍♂️

    Sources, please. That’s a good lad. 👍

And why is this in the Starmer thread, anyway? 🤔

The way some of you are carrying on, it’s like you’ve never seen horse withdrawn because of the ground before.
