Legends Of War scratched from the Coventry

Champion hurdle
Defi Du Seuil 20/1 – EW (Ladbrokes)Stayers Hurdle
Finians Oscar 16/1 – EW (Coral)Gold Cup
Native River 12/1 – EW (WILL HILL)Larchmont Lad 40/1 for me. Didn’t get the run of the race in the Craven LTO and ran on his own away from the top 4 in the race. Will come on for the run and I feel we’ve wrote him off too early. Won a G3 round the course which is a big plus. Buick in the saddle and it wouldn’t be the first time one of the stables second strings goes in instead of the more fancied ones.

Had Jenkins for the Supreme and Invitational Only for Neptune which are down but not a bad portfolio I’m hoping.Wishing I backed Neon Wolf nevertheless

All in on Fingerontheswitch. Bottom of the weights for the shrewd jockey/trainer combo.

Id be all over the 14/1 for Death Duty 2018 RSA there, 14/1 is HUGE.

Can’t get my head round how easily the bookies have got away with not paying out on Josies Orders winning the cross country March 2016. Many of us have backed a WINNER and not been paid out?
Example 1. Most bookies pay out both horses as a winner if a horse loses the race in the stewards room.
Example 2. Simple Verse and Bondi Beach – Everyone got paid out.Genuine question guys… what’s the difference?

The difference was that the amended result and subsequent appeal (or intention of) was known within one hour of the race finish. I would have thought most would still have had their betting slips at this time, if backing in the bookies. The Any Currency saga wasn’t known until weeks if not months after the race finish. How many would still have had their slips from this race?
Yeah that’s very true but most punters these days bet online so like myself their betslip will always be there. (Settled Bets).
I done it on bet365, I had a single on it on the day and I actually had it in a treble with Thistlecrack and Don Cossack at decent antepost prices. You’d have thought they would have at worst made Josies Orders selections void. Im sure there is many other people in a similar position but I still cant get my head round it. If one bookmakers pays out, they all should regardless of whatever the returns are, IT WON hahaha.
Silly though isn’t it Nathan, bookies win enough money and this just got brushed under the carpet. Be interesting to get Matt Chapman’s take on it on ‘On The Line’

I like it! We mays well make it a e/w treble with Alpha Des Obeaux aye Zark #BookiesInTears

What do we think of an e/w double on Consul De Thaix Supreme Hurdle and Brain Power Champion Hurdle before Saturday? CDT will have a superb chance if he wins the Betfair and it’ll be a massive form boost for Brain Power?

21 runners in the Ultima. Top 2 I’ve heard

Triumph – Meri Devie 9/1 Betfair WIN
RSA – Singlefarmpayment 40/1 Boylesport EW
Arkle – Charbel E/W 25/1 BetVictor

Has to be Rooster Booster back in the 2003 Champion Hurdle for me. The way he came there absolute tanking and just went past them all on the bridle.
I’m still crying now actually..

Supreme Melon 12/1 Hills/Betfred WIN
Neptune Neon Wolf 10/1 bet365 WIN

Champion Chase – Sir Valentino 40/1 EW
Ryanair – Sub Lieutenant 16/1 – EW
