Gents, I, like you, have been a fan of Ertijaal for a while now too, been trying to hunt down a price for Saturday but cannot seem to get any anywhere. Any idea’s where I’ll be able to find one?

Did I suggest that or were you only ever going to give a stupid answer?

Touch and go whether Art of Payroll gets a run but you will get your stake back as he will be balloted out. Just in case I have had my same stake £30 EW on Arctic Fire at 16s, he doesn’t hit many trends but Ruby and Mullins have a good record in handicap hurdles and the Irish will lump onto this fella, down to 12s and less but worth an EW shout.

Good man thanks for that. Few people rather confident he’ll get in now. You get 33’s too? Will have a butchers at Arctic Fire now.

Grounds coming right for Carrickboy and Same Difference who should both run close :-)

Looking closer to getting a run for Art of Payroll, fingers crossed a couple more drop out

What do we need for an Art of Payroll run mate?

A miracle! He’s currently sat at 71 in the runners index so he’ll need about 40 odd horses to drop out, however his rating of 135 would just about get him in off bottom weight in years gone by and I can see about 30 of the required runners to drop out do just that but I doubt he’ll get in.His 5lb penalty wont help him either.

Fantastic, when I saw a reply I didn’t imagine I’d get any more better news than that! Another Ante Post bet in the bin for me! Did you watch the Betfair Preview tonight, Gord?

Did you see Art of Payroll win? Paid for 3/4 of ante post bets, shame he won’t get a run at Festival as I’ve got £30 EW at 33s grrrrr

    Couple more to look at:

Coral Cup: Dermot Weld doesn’t send many over but when he does they run well so WAHEEB who has run against some decent types could run well at 33s.

Pertemps: Top Wood at 20s looks a nice EW chance.

NH Chase: Midnight Prayer will love the extreme distance and from a yard that does well in this race :-)

Finally I cannot believe 25s is freely available for Carrickboy in the Byrne!!

GDC, I also backed Art of Payroll at the weekend – what makes you say he won’t be running?

I’ve also snapped up 25’s on Carrickboy for the Byrne Plate!

A year on its time again to see if TAPK has found the elusive Golden Nugget in field of Golden Nuggets! I’ve said enough about painting pictures its time for

    Stubbs

    to prove me right! 8)

Wow! Blown out of the water by

    War command

    ,there’s absolutely no way

    Stubbs

or anything else will reverse that form,it was an awesome performance and 10/1 about next years 2000gns wont last the length of this post!!

Gord picks stubbs (favourite) > stubbs loses to war command > war command goes favourite > Gord selects War Command. Same old same old

Has anyone been given any ante post prices for Flashy Approach? If so what races are you targetting?

Does know-one think Loch Garman has a chance in the Derby or have I missed something?

He looked a big, ungainly sort in The Derrinstown behind Battle Of Marengo and I don’t think Epsom will suit him at all. He is not entered for the race and would need to be supplemented but I would think that is unlikely. He is entered in the Irish 2000 Guineas and Derby though.

I just thought on the face of it his form behind Battle of Marengo actually isn’t too bad and would more than likely stay The Derby trip. I think it will run a big race at the weekend, interesting horse
