Small e/w bet @ 50,s on Alamode in the 4.55
Course winner last year and best performances have been on a faster surface which she has not encountered for a while
I think Pearls Secret has a squeak in this after today race at Goodwood. Cruising in behind the leaders just as the button was going to be pressed. Nearly knocked sideways by Ryan Moore and came home just behind the leaders.
Took the 33’s PP E/W and will keep topping up every week till the race.
Had a look again at this race this morning.
I dont know if it is just me but Raucous looks very well treated here.
Past history shows he is suited by a fast surface
Last time out ( 6 F ) had a TT fitted for the first time and beaten 1 3/4 l by the Tin Man receiving 5 lbs which he wears today along with CP.
Runs now in this race off 8 stone 12
Not the best of draws, but had a good punt 5 places @ 20/1
Had Bentelimar as a horse to win a decent prize at some point. Took 20’s 5 places e/w that the first time headgear does the trick.
Good luck all
Took the 12’s yesterday on Lathom in the 5.30
It’s ran a couple of eyecatching runs lately to say the least.
Hopefully a bit of 10’s will appear this morning and will add to my first bet, as with luck in running i think this is a good thing today.
Good luck all
First Lieutenant went up a whopping 13 lbs after coming second in the Lexus. He has dropped back to the same mark as when third in the Hennessy to Smad Place. If back to that form he could have a decent E/W chance at 33’s
Been waiting for Shogun to race on fast ground. Highly tried on unsuitable ground all year except when he was a fast finishing second to Moonlight Magic in the Derrinstown. Behind him that day was Idaho and Beacon rock who have since franked the form.
I think there may be a bit of belief from connections that given his ideal conditions some good races can be had with him.
Took 7-1 & 13/2 yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Froome wins the TDF in a canter to become the First Briton to win 3 TDF which brings his price down to as low as 7-1 for SPOTY.
After the race he announces he is aiming now for an incredible 2 Olympic golds at Rio. He is now down to Evens for the time trial due to the odds on favourite Tom Dumoulin breaking his wrist in an accident towards the end of the Tour.
Also he has announced that he will aim at the Vuelta ( Tour of Spain ) after the Olympics with an aim of becoming the only the second rider in history to win both Tours in the same year.
Had a saver win bet on the exchanges with Balty Boys at 29-1. Beaten a head by Heavens guest last year giving 8 lbs, 5 lbs better off today. Must have a squeak!
Mr. Froome is now 1-33 for the TDF and 4-1 for the time trial at Rio. Best price now is 18-1 @ BV which still looks a decent price for SPOTY
I see some posters have one of their cliff horses going today and one of mine is going in this….Last chance saloon for Turret Rocks….Jim Bolger has always claimed she is top class however we have yet to see it!!considering Bolger is in the best form he has been in all year I’m gonna give her one last go…….Seventh Heaven looks quite a big price relative to Architecture considering she has finished in front of her before…..
Last chance saloon all right. Thing is they always pop up next time at 25-1
Backed a similar profile horse as Buratino. Iluminate to win
Was never going to get the mile in the Guineas. Next time out on soft ground ( which the trainer has always stated is not suitable ) ran an ok race over 6F beaten 3L by Quiet Reflection in the Commonwealth G1
Just beaten by Lumiere in the 6F Cheveley Park on fast ground last year.
Looking for her to show some of that form and potential in this race.
Unbelievable scenes at the TDF. Mr. Froome ran up the mountain without a bike today to prove his greatness, hopefully a lot of coverage in the media on his superhuman exploits
Huge performance today in the time trial today from Mr.Froome which takes his price down to a best price of 20/1 for SPOTY.
With stage 12 next in the TDF an expected dominant display from him should bring his odds into 14-1 after the race.
i’ve went for Remarkable each way at 16’s and I’m thinking about Glen Moss at the same price. Good luck with Heavens Guest he ran a decent race yesterday.
Good luck with yours also ! I saw Glen Moss win last time out and certainly looks a handicapper going places.
Best price 25-1 @ Bet Victor, generally 20’s and as low as 12’s now.
Barring accidents 25-1 will look very big in 2 weeks.
Never had a bet in the race but Air Force Blue still retains plenty of ability judged on that run. Very eye catching jaunt out today.
No idea what his next target is, but in my notebook in Big Red Capital Letters.
