    Here’s some feedback.

Why don’t you post about a topic other than yourself for a change?

    Denman – doubts over health
Binocular – has yet to meet a field of fully tuned up, start to finish Champion Hurdle types
Punchestown – one race wonder at the minute

Master Minded – the only one of the quartet I’d rate absolute stone cold, stonker, baker material of the quartet.

Perhaps Punchestowns has only proved himself in one race but apart from Kasbah Bliss and Inglis Drever (if fit), should we really fear any other staying hudler given the way he has dominated in his two races this season?

I think Punchestowns is open to further improvement and will take all the beating come March (barring a fairytale comeback by Inglis Drever).

I agree with you regarding MM bucking the trend last year because I too backed him to win on the day but has there been many other class 5 year olds contesting the champion chase in recent years?

I was against Katchit last year due to the 5 year old jinx over the years but this year I’m convinced that it will be a poor renewal. Binnocular only has to show up and he wins if only because he is one of the most fluent hurdle jumpers I have ever seen with the speed too match.

But am I right in saying that no horse has ever regained the Gold Cup thus making a fit Denman a banker?

I’ve only been watching racing for 4 years but MM is the best jumper I have ever seen. His speed and the way he flies over his fences makes me think that he would not only beat Moscow Flyer, but would probably do so with 10 lengths in hand.

No disrespect to the great 2 milers of the past but can anyone put up a reasonable argument to beat this "machine"?

Shame Bushranger has not been declared. I fancied him to run a good race at nice 7/1 odds.

    Cheers for that guys.

Some good races on the card. Hopefully Katchit will make an appearance.

Surely Papal Bull has run the race of his life!!

To say the jockey has given him a bad ride is unbelievable.

9L clear of the rest of the group 1 horses on show today and some say it was a bad ride!

The only conclusion that can be drawn from that race is that "the duke" is an amazing horse and Papal Bull has thrown down the challenge of his life but was still not good enough on the day.

    End of story.

My first post on this forum so hi all. I felt compelled to pop my posting cherry because of the abuse Thommo is getting. I was listening to talksport yesterday and anyone who can tip a 6/5 double once a fortnight gets my respect. "Full marks to him"!
