The only racing theme tune I’ve liked was the one used by Channel 4 in the 80’s and most of the 90’s.

I don’t think I’ve enjoyed any of the music they’ve used since then and if they do have a new theme tune I doubt I’ll think much of that either!
Makes you wonder what Tidal Bay could have achieved had he been with Paul Nicholls throughout his career.
Flemenstar travel’s and jumps so well that it would be exciting to see him in the Champion Chase against Sprinter Sacre.
I hope he has a long and happy retirement.
Of the horses he trained I’d say Salsabil was my favourite. She was a superb filly. Here’s a couple of video’s of her in action.
Amazing racehorse.
It would be so exciting to see him run in the Arc or Breeders Cup Classic but we all know there’s no chance he’ll run in either race.
Champion Stakes then retirement.
Like to see Nick Luck still used as a presenter along with Clare Balding.
Simon Holt & Richard Hoiles as two main commentators as they are by far the two best around.
I couldn’t understand any racing fan picking the St.Leger over a clash between Camelot and Frankel in the International.
1. M. Pipe – Well Chief

10. R. Charlton – Sanglamore
11. D. Weld – Vinnie Roe
12. M. Johnston – Double Trigger
13. J. Bolger – St Jovite
14. A. O’Brien – Hawk WingSince Nijinsky in 1970 only three horses have completed the 2,000 Guineas/Derby double – Nashwan, See the Stars & now Camelot.
It takes a very high class horse with speed & stamina to achieve the double. Nashwan & See the Stars were fantastic racehorses who both successfully dropped back to 1m 2f after their Derby victories.
I have no doubt Camelot is capable of doing the same which is why a match up with Frankel over that trip is something all flat racing fans should want to see.
It makes no sense whatsoever to take on Frankel and spoil everything
Don’t you find that really sad though?
For racing it would be so exciting to see the two meet. Way more exciting than to see Camelot beat a bunch of Group 2/3 horses over 1m 6f in my opinion.
Black Caviar vs Frankel was never going to happen but this match up 100% could happen over 1m 2f and I find it really depressing that it probably won’t due to (as usual) ****ing stud value.
Both horses are entered for the Eclipse but unfortunately neither will turn up. Camelot will go to the Irish Derby for a walkover against a few of his stablemates and Frankel won’t run as it looks like he will be aimed at the Sussex Stakes or the International.
The International would be a great race for them to meet and Frankel will probably run but I just can’t see Camelot turning up for this. After the Irish Derby I think Coolmore will give him a break and then go for either the Irish Champion Stakes, a race that Frankel isn’t even entered in or the St.Leger.
So really that only leaves the Champion Stakes at Ascot and even that is unlikely because Camelot would probably be aimed at the Arc instead. Virtually no chance that either will run in the Breeders Cup Classic.
I hope I’m wrong and they do meet this season but I can’t see it happening. I’d much rather see Camelot vs Frankel than Camelot having a boring walkover over 1m 6f against vastly inferior opposition.
You must be tired of watching Frankel then.
Excelebration is a Group 1 miler he’s just being made to look like a group 2/3 horse by Frankel.
If Frankel moves up to 1m 2f I think it would be a huge shame if Camelot doesn’t face him at some point during the season.
All this talk of the Triple Crown I find quite underwhelming to be honest. I’d rather see Camelot take on Frankel over 1m 2f than see him beat a bunch of Group 2/3 horses over 1m 6f.
God I hope Camelot goes to the Eclipse next against the older horses and not to the Irish Derby where he’ll just face a walkover against a few of his stablemates.
Camelot vs Frankel over 1m 2f at some point during this season would be exciting but unfortunately probably unlikely.
Binocular travelled and jumped like he was back to his best at Wincanton. For me he’s the only horse in the race capable of beating Hurricane Fly. Overturn & Celestial Halo should make a fast pace and I can see Binocular & HF both cruising coming down the hill towards the second last. After that it’s down to who find’s the most off the bridle. Should be an incredibly exciting race to watch.
1st – Binocular
2nd – Hurricane Fly
3rd – Rock On RubyIf she does make it to Royal Ascot I’ll be watching the Attheraces coverage rather than the BBC’s. Jim McGrath has been bad enough in the past on commentary with his total bias towards the Aussie horses. I think he’ll be completely unbearable with Black Caviar running. Simon Holt/Richard Hoiles are a much better option on the other channel.
I was delighted to see the way Binocular traveled and jumped in the Kingwell. It’s the best he’s looked since his victory in the Champion Hurdle. I’ve always believed that if he could reproduce his CH winning form then he’d be a major threat to Hurricane Fly.
Looking at the race now I can only see one of these two winning the it. For me it all depends on which Binocular turns up. If he runs to his best then I think it will be very close between him and HF. If not then HF will win easily in my opinion.
I can’t see Zarkandar, Grandouet & rest challenging for any more than the minor placings.
