Based on the horses that gave you the best moments after backing AP

    Here is mine –

    1. Lochsong
    2. Master Oats
    3. Alderbrook
    4. Halling
    5. Viking Flagship
    6. Almanzor
    7. Found
    8. Little Bean
    9. Ruler of the world ( my first grand national winner )
    10. Antonin

Heartbreak City would of got in easily if he had a 6 inch longer nose.

The only one that stands out for me is Don’t Push It in the National for McCoy, backed it in the autumn at 33/1 and saw it come down all the way to about 10/1 on the day. A great feeling.

    BAY OF ISLANDS (Northumberland Plate)
    KAHYASI (Derby)
    HIGH RISE (Derby)
    GOLDEN HORN (Derby)
    FREE GUEST (Extel)
    CHINOISERIE (Extel)
    DARING TIMES (Shaftsbury Handicap)
    REBEL SONG (Sun Alliance Hurdle)
    DIXTON HOUSE (National Hunt Chase)
    SAXON MAID (November Handicap)

These ten probably won me the most money !! And in case you haven’t noticed five of them were Luca Cumani’s :good:

Kauto Star on winning his 1st Gold Cup in 2007, every time I walked home from work I’d couldn’t resist popping into Hills and getting another voucher. I had about fifty tickets from Hills alone in the end plus online bets and a couple doubles with Katchit for the Triumph Hurdle. It was always the same sour faced woman in Hills and every time she’d say “you know if it don’t run, you lose you money”.
Took her ages to scan all the slips when I went to collect, had a face of thunder she did.

In 2005 I had 20/1 Footstepsinthesand for the 2000 Guineas and 20/1 Virginia Waters for the 1000 Guineas. Wish I’d had the double !

If it were to happen, then my average of 187 on betfair laid off at 32’s for Thunder Snow to win next years 2000 Guineas will become my favourite.

Sea the Stars at 16/1 to win the 2000 Guineas was another good one.

I can’t think of any others as mostly they lose or do not even run.
