If anyone fancies doing a regular blog we’d love to hear from you. We are able to host these now and I am sure there are a good few on here who could write informative, entertaining and profitable pieces to rival anything elsewhere.

Simon Knott has contributed his own blog to the Lounge David.I’d suggest moving it to here as this guy is a very worthy addition to the forum, titled ‘Tales from the betting ring’ its an account of all the days action from various meetings highlighting in particular what goes on around on-course bookmakers.I have read his work for a couple of years now and his articulate prose with a twist of humour adds a different dimension to our fantastic sport.

Completely agree TAPK – just can’t figure out how to move it. Here’s the link though. https://simonnottracing.wordpress.com/

Many thanks for the nice words, I will update on here when I post a new blog. There will be one every night after Cheltenham I will be there all four days and write the blog before I leave the course. It will hopefully bring some of the colour and excitement of the ring to life for those not lucky enough to be there. The current blogs go back to 2013’s festival.

I’ve been doing my own sporting blog for a couple of years now.

Mine is slightly different in that while racing is the main sport that I follow I decided to make it a multi sport one so I also include reviews of non league football, athletics and the odd rugby match.

    Wattyracing.wordpress.com

It has a real mix of events in it and I think it makes it a surprise for the reader as you never know what event will come up next.

I would love to, but I doubt anyone would want to read it. :)

Love 2, but I bore myself, though I could just post some selections from my ‘systematic methodology race reading course to winner-finding’, if any one was even remotely interested.

It is based on small fields of up to 8 runners.
Aims for solid bets based on the form horse in the race, as determined by the ‘systematic methodology race reading course to winner-finding’.
The winners are mostly less than 3/1 but odds on shots are avoided where possible.
Gives regular losing runs of 5 or more.
Plenty of short winning runs, rarely more than 3 in a row.
Will not make you rich. I know this as it hasn’t made me rich.
Some days there will be too many bets for you to handle. I recall the 2nd March, there were/was 10 selections, that’s a lot! (4 winners and a losing run of 5).

One more thing, sometimes I am just too busy to go online, other times BT make my service stop working, mostly though I get bored easily and stop posting, so pretty unreliable.

    Interested?

Extra: Just thought I’d add todays systematic methodology race reading course to winner-finding, selections. First off, the Shortlist…

    Fakenham
    2:55 Saddlers Deal
    3:35 Go Odee Go
    4:55 Alanjou

    Lingfield
    3:05 Loraine
    3:45 Mymatechris

    Wolverhampton
    7:15 La Estrella

Then there’s the one’s I have decided are the best value bets. Mothing to do with the system, just my opinion. Will back these if the price is right.

Thanks Gord (Antepost King) that’s very kind of you, I do have a regular slot in Racing Ahead. I have written for them on and off since issue two, I’ve been AWOL for a while but back with an ‘exclusive’ tales from every month.
