A real trier and top class chaser in his heyday- not as talented as some of his contemporaries but he made up for it in grit and determination. Obviously had a very long and (hopefully) happy retirement.

I was just thinking about this article from a couple of years ago the other day and wondering if he was still alive. He definitely had a long and happy retirement and no horse deserved it more. R.I.P. Young Hustler

Remember being present to witness him laughing at the Aintree fences about 25 years ago.

Sorry that he is no longer with us but glad to hear he had a long and happy retirement…32 was a great age and he gave us so much pleasure on the racecourse in his youth.
