The big race takes place at Lingfield on Saturday. It’s only a Listed Race, but looks really good, & is full highly-rated AW performers. A suprising absentee seems to be Gentleman’s Deal, the Winter Derby winner from 2007. A suprising & really pleasing inclusion, is Sri Diamond, who won the 2006 Winter Derby, but was injured in the build up to race last year.
Add in Grand Passion (who has finished 2nd in the last two Winter Derbies), Capricorn Run, Fajr. G.Butler can chose from Dansant, Jack Sullivan, Baharah & Silver Pivotal. All of these are rated 105 or above….& this is just the trial!!
