Winter and Minding have gone to Japan to be Covered by Deep Impact

That’s a big move for Coolmore; I was expecting one or both to go to Caravaggio or War Front. It makes sense, though, and their offspring could be special.
What a fantastic name for a stallion.
Both fillies said to be excited by the prospect of Deep Impact’s deep impact.
Like you Degaussed, I expected one if not both to go to a speedy sire such as War Front, after all the recent success they’ve been having with similar crosses.
Delighted to see they’ve gone to Deep Impact however, when Minding was first retired I posted over on the retirement thread that I would love to see her sent to him. It is a risky move, but a lot more exciting than simply sending them to War Front I think ,there could be some excellent middle distance colts or fillies to look forward to.
Hopefully their offspring will be more of an Australia rather than a Zarak.
