Can anybody explain why Fury is such a short price for the race having run plum last in his last three starts being beaten 11 lengths, 14 lengths and 11 lengths respectively, weakening in two races over a mile at the finish and eased in the other.
I saw him run in two of these contests at Newmarket last year and thought he looked as though he had lost interest in the game.
Whether the booking of Beschizza can breath new life into him remains to be seen but surely this is a favourite worth opposing.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 28, 2012 at 10:46 #398608Mart: Apart from KF tipping him up! Punters must surely be pinning their hopes on the fact he will return to his 2yo form?
Have you seen Mick lately?
March 28, 2012 at 10:49 #398609Fury has been supported because of the trainer’s record in the race, the belief that gelding him has got rid of his sourness etc. The biggest concern for anyone who has backed him should be the trainer’s weekend statement that he really needs some rain at Doncaster to be seen in the best light.
March 28, 2012 at 20:33 #398657Eclipse,have no fear I’ve been up at Doncaster allday with my 2 Watering cans, one in each hand,I’ve watered the whole length of the course unfortunately I ran out of water so could only do the far side rail.I will have to hope
Fury
is drawn 1.
March 28, 2012 at 21:44 #398660Of course there is no guarantee that gelding the male of the species will make them any more useful, if that were so the NHS would be truly over-worked and the local Chinese restaurant would have sweet and sour pork balls in plentiful supply
March 29, 2012 at 10:30 #398683Penitent withdrawn and a couple of good outsiders don’t make the cut:
Robemaker from the Gosden yard and Dandys Prime Exhibit and also Primeaval

Stevie Thunder (already advised) and
Field Of DreamBet365 NRNB from today
March 30, 2012 at 16:44 #398811Though I do not like the race from a betting point of view, I think Mull of Killough will run well. He has been steadily supported over the last few days and appears to have a respectable draw.
