I said apparently expected to win, Ginner, because that’s how it was being discussed. I had no financial interest in the race.
And i don’t infer surprise, Ginner. You obviously don’t understand the concept of inference.
September 28, 2013 at 19:03 #452813I never said you had had a bet in the race.
This is what you actually said Mark.
Don’t you just love this sport ?!

Waiting for a race at Newmarket so watching Downpatrick.
Cyras Love is apparently expected to win.
Quick glance at the form and it’s poor but so’s the race.
Anyway this favourite is beaten out of sight
by a maiden who’s raced 17 times under rules and a further 9 times in points.
Recent form figures of PU, F, F, 3, PU, PU, 4. Trainer is 6 from 114 this season. At Newmarket Rizeena is beaten by a horse about 20lb’s inferior.
Think everyone can see what you meant Mark.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 30, 2013 at 21:03 #453082I should point out that one Forumite had this event well covered had this event well covered. Venture To Cognac ‘landed a coup’ for his ‘Minted’ thread in the Systems, one of his disturbingly successful themed threads in that part of the Forum.
Lesson from the Imperial Joey race could be that if 15 slow horses get together in the same race then a slow horse will win. Let’s face it, the 3/1 favourite was also a maiden…

October 1, 2013 at 08:39 #453136Dont worry , Ginger will be along soon telling you it was the value
