Couldn’t post selections this morning.. I think there was a problem with the website.
January 18, 2014 at 18:15 #465259They should of stuck with the hold up tactics with Mia’s. Birdman missed the break, held up and won going away.
Agreed Nathan and he wasn’t ridden out for a place on first impressions (haven’t watched the rerun yet). Amazing run from the back by the winner but he had Group history, can’t believe he was 25/1..took 10’s in the Winter tipping for him but did have a couple of pounds each way at 25’s
Don’t give up on Mia’s it could have been him popping in at 20’s today with a good ride.
Bad luck Charley, the site has been down both Friday and Saturday this week…don’t give up still long way to GN day.

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 19, 2014 at 01:06 #465281Had another look at that race Nathan, just a head separated them, what a good 2yo he was. Yes it was Newmarket and I was there, just found the racecard too and I backed Olympic Glory.

Interesting to see that Luhaif, who ran 2nd to him today, was also in the race but not fairing so well that day in 7th. However, when the 3 met up again NTO at Goodwood Olympic Glory won, with Luhaif in 3rd at 80/1, Tha’ir was 4th and Birdman struggling in 7th. He never really got his form back until today.
Funny old game.
