    Welcome Bennie.
Ignore my selections they are crazy!
There are lots of knowledgeable racing enthusiastics here. If you visit the Meydan thread sometime, there are lots of helpful forumites who will guide you to the delights of the forum.

    Dundalk 8.30
    PATSY FAGAN
    200/1
    Each way
    ABBEY JO
    Win

Patsy Fagan won off a higher mark for Richard Fahey six times five on the all weather.
Has dropped below the winning mark achieved on last win for yard at Southwell. Been campaigned in big field turf handicaps to get mark down. Jockey Gary Halpin had a big gambled on winner in Boom boom boom two days ago and has the one ride tonight.
Abbey Jo won here last time out and reappears quickly.

    Round up
LALLYGAG and TEDDY BLUE in a double were wide margin winners.
    MAGIC DAZE @ 18/1
at Down Royal was the bet of the week.
Two big reverses in nothing races were a negative.
But Thyme Hill stamped class all over Exeter on jumps debut for the soul selection.
CARNFUNNOCK won in emphatic fashion over the odds on hotpot betterdaysarecoming for the bumpers thread.

No selections on here today as emphasis goes on the breeders cup tonight.
A selection or two gone on in the soul selection thread.
So here’s hoping FLIGHTLINE has read the script that has been written for him.

Dabbled around with a few small stakes selections in the soul selection thread but waiting for the main course in the breeders cup at 9.41.
    But
    Chelmsford 5pm
    ALJARI
    Each way
Makes stable debut for Tom Clover at Chelmsford having been got down to a career low mark before leaving Marco Botti.
He has won off 93 in a class three and won at Chelmsford and has the distance at another course. If fit and ready would stand a chance here.

    Chelmsford 5.30

    PRAISE OF SHADOWS
    Win
The top weight ONE MORE DREAM carries a penalty for his two wide margin wins at Newcastle. That may well be enough to stop him and if so, Praise Of Shadows becomes effectively the defacto top weight.
They are drawn alongside each other and this is highly advantageous to the selection who went close here recently over a trip shorter than ideal.
Was staying on that day also, having led for a way. Steps up to this trip which he has won over before. Has not won for over two years and turns out very quickly after last run

OVERSTATE is one for the notebook after a good but distant second to the Godolphin bred George Boughey runner who still has many pounds in hand. Overstate proved his beating of another well treated horse on debut was no fluke…..
After a day of total of distraction around the breeders cup,
SANDOWN provides some heavy going fare

    The 1250
    Presents an opportunity for
    TOP OF THE BILL
    Win
    to get off the mark.
How this one is still a maiden I don’t know.
Third to JONBON last year and a good fourth latest to SHEARER.
A close up neck second on soft going suggests he can finally get home today.
    FLOATING ROCK
    Each way
Is a big drifter in the market trading at huge prices having gone to an out of form outfit who haven’t had a winner in many years.
This last time out winner off the same mark as he runs today may get into the places….

    WALK IN THE BRISE
    Win
    Is hard to oppose
And can win this by some way

    GIVEMYLOVETOROSE
    ( PLACE)
Looks very well bred and is an interesting recruit has been well backed and can place here.
    WALK IN THE BRISE
to win by seven + lengths
    GIVEMYLOVETOROSE
    To place
    Givemylovetorose
Best performance was behind Cheltenham hero it came to pass in a point to point.

Was a runner up to progressive power under me who was trying a mile for the first time. Was well clear of some of these that day….

    DUKE DE SESSA
    Win
Has a big chance here. Stepped up in trip last time in Ireland and relished it. And was a very good performer at the arc meeting last month.
Running without the hood and drops massively in class.
YAXEINI will give most to do.
    Hence
YAXEINI win without duke de sessa

    Invictus De Brion
    Win
Gave weight to Alien storm and comfortably beat him in a bumper.
Alien storm won on hurdles bow and now carries a penalty and has to concede half a stone to the selection.
Small place bet on Celtic art making debut here

    BLACKCAUSEWAY
    Win
Is taken to make a winning debut over fences. Was last seen over hurdles staying on to good effect and this winning pointer can make a good start here.
Sam Twiston Davies continues the partnership.

TWIG drops in class after a good run behind shearer at Cheltenham.
Has three chase wins off a similar mark and may be able to exploit things here in this novice hurdle.
Trip short of the three miles he’s been contesting but finished a distance clear of the third horse at Cheltenham in a class 2 hurdle.
Winning distance more than seven lengths.

    BOLD PLAN
    Each way
Comes here on winning Cheltenham form and bids to land a four timer.
    Up six pounds.
Jockey has a three pound claim so a negated rise. Fiddlerontheroof comes with every chance and has scored at much higher levels but does have Newbury in mind. Certainly a big danger if ready.

Tweed skirt makes chasing bow for the in form Henderson yard and the progressive Lilith are both very popular but WHATSDASTORY can put experience and weight to use and go close. WHATSDASTORY
    Each way

    Round up
Hard going as favourites dominated, but a (seven length) winning distance selection @ evens saw TWIG winning by 14 lengths.
