He might be able to support the likes of Lineker (and even Lynch) on some level and still win.

What he actually said is factually correct and I marvel at how all sides bar Lineker himself have so not read the the room. I hope this wakens up folk to just the total nonsense of the culture wars and how morally bankrupt the current govt is. God knows how the bbc extricate themselves from a mess of their own making. Sacking sharp and davie would be a start and then appointing folk with no political affiliation so they can truly be impartial. Well I watched MOTD this morning which was 20 mins long, and my hope is people are thinking I’ve actually got back an hour of my life.
Hearing there’s live women’s football on BBC2 at lunchtime, hope that extends to this programme too.
Women’s commentary on football is the worst.
