Red Rum. I’ve said this to all of the tradespeople I use that have been so wonderful over the past year or so (postie, milkman, local shops, Tesco delivery man etc) but a huge thank you to people like yourself and your work colleagues for going into work when people like me have been protecting ourselves from the virus. I really am grateful and we do try to thank people in person when we do get the chance to.

    Thanks Moehat, :good:

Tank and co are right about one thing, the most important thing in my view, we can’t let covid beat us. We must while taking extreme care live our lives as normal as we can.

To do this though we must get vaccinated , my booster jab is booked next Monday. :good:

Hi Tank you see news in Ireland restaurants down to 50 percent. Also night clubs got to close down on Tuesday. I thought vaccine passports means these nightclubs can still operate well not in Ireland tells you how useless vaccine passports are

People are slowly waking up to the hell that they have helped to make. Sad times.

Daz I hope you don’t mind me calling you Tide once more, such is my buoyant connection to the mighty, but often deadly, very Sunday sea today.

Past Tuesday in the land of many Priests you’ll indeed have to be more inventive and strut your Saturday night Funkey chicken in the oldest disco out of town – climb into your wheels, splash on some ol ‘enery on and sneak yerself into The FARMYARD.

Judging by your posts and a little detection on my part you are not a giant in physical terms but not one to take on when angered either. Despite your bravado If the farmer’s wife spots your illegal entry and presents herself in a large angry nighty, pray hide your blushes quickly amongst the chickens. She has the reputation of eating chicken lovers alive. Even the Farmer himself is more often found in the forensic labs for the mentally challenged than his forty fields. :bye:

No idea what you on about by this last post gamble.

I just point out that vaccine passports do not work and there no scientific evidence for them to

Even when people say we need to them keep business open. Tell that to people that run nightclubs in Ireland from Tuesday they close.
I thought these passports were there to keep these venues open

You only see that Germany and other countries in Europe over last 6months had covid pass. And now for example in Germany they had more cases before pandemic start. With the covid pass in place that was before Omricom variant was about

Ask people who run pubs and nightclubs in the UK and they tell you don’t want vaccine passports because in countries they being used there business goes down 20 percent

11 separate academic studies show the costs of lockdown outweighed the benefits.

Lockdown = weight gain for those with rather too much access to food.

Someone once quipped there never was a lockdown anyway. Just a lot of entitled, middle class people staying at home in their large houses and nice gardens while working class people delivered things to them.

“On the subject of mask wearing, it doesn’t stop you from catching covid by itself just from spreading it. Keeping social distancing thus though. It’s worked in the past on disease like the PLAQUE in Eyam.”

Sounds bad. Don’t they have Dentists in Eyam?

    Once again Darren,
Ask people who run pubs and nightclubs whether they’d rather it be “down 20%” with vaccine passports rather than down 100% without… I bet they favour 20%.

The plaque happened in 1665, but as George Santayana, said ” Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

I personally blame hygiene perhaps Covid wouldn’t have got a foothold if we were more hygienic with ourselves.
