Close but no cigar!! I think Day blew it after three holes and was playing catch up rest of the day!! At least I got two placed with Grace as well.
From a confidence point of view five of my six picks finished in the top thirty or so which is not bad considering some of the prices I backed!!
Oh well onwards and upwards to the next one!!
Raymo you were the closest mate, that was hard luck, I don’t know
if you had him e/w as he was 10s at the start. I hope Darren had Stenson e/w.
I hoped for more at the start of the final day, but I would have settled for
a place at 66/1 before the tournament started, so I’m happyish (if that’s a
word). Koepka is a Major waiting to happen, 4th this year, 5th last year and
10th the year before, he’s going the right way and I reckon he will hit a big
one next year.We did ok chaps, but with a tad of luck it could have been better.
