I will eat a years supply of humble pie if Menorah finishes ahead of Dunguib. He won’t finish in the top 3 imo.

Forpadytheplaster won’t win the Champion Chase, Khyber Kim won’t win C.H and Big Bucks won’t be beaten in WH

Watch Menorah, Forpady and Khyber Kim win on the bridle

Shaun, If Dunguib was your horse and things are how they now are re setbacks, withdrawals etc, where would you run him?

Champion hurdle all the way, purely for the reason that he is 7 now and time may run out with a view to running him over fences in the future.

Of all the odds on shots at the moment (Kauto, Big Bucks’, Dunguib, Masterminded) Kauto is the only one i’m not convinced will win. I think the ground is absolutely key to the outcome of that race. The others I think will all win comfortably regardless of conditions.

I’ve been banging on about Tranquil Sea in the Ryanair for a while now and his demise will have me eating the most humble pie.

I’m due a big slice of humble pie for my choice of moniker after a disasterous Festival, two thirds of my hard earned kitty gone in four days of undisciplined betting. Worst Cheltenham for many years.
Luckily I’ve retained enough profit on the season to pay for the new sash and case windows going in the back of our house next week plus my usual starting kitty for next season and a few hundred quid to place the odd bet between now and the end of the season.
Not that bad really but it’s still a pretty substantial loss on this week :( :( :( :(

The only horses I visualise backing between now and the end of the season are

RASH MOVE, easily the best Hunter in The UK
LOUIS PASTEUR Very unlucky loser on his only run under rules, entered at Kempton on Tuesady
DUNGUIB if he takes on the expereienced hurdlers at Punchestown with some reservations about the jockey
MARY SPRING RICE likely to go in at a good price next time in a bumper, especially under an experienced jockey.

Talk to you all next Autumn, I’m going to enjoy the profit I’ve retained every time I look out at the woods behind the house.

    I said

"The biggest piece of humble pie would be if Sizing Europe who I raved about before he won the Irish Champion hurdle wins the Arkle. I say he has absolutely no chance of winning and Captain Cee Bee will destroy him."

You all have my permission to call me Billy Bunter anytime you like
