Yeah with hindsight I agree. And I think he reverses the form next time.
January 5, 2019 at 10:57 #1391441Tiger Tap Tap had a nice start, so 14-1 nrnb for myself
January 14, 2019 at 16:29 #1392492Thought on Carlo Biraghi after today? 14/1 looks more than fair compared with Sir Erec 7s and Tiger Tap Tap 10s on a direct line of with Andalusa. If you consider that Andalusa was punted today and has probably improved a far bit since his debut run and the manner of CBs win today, has to be a live one for this. I’ll take a punt on him.
January 14, 2019 at 21:25 #1392524Added the new Nicholls recruit Pick D’Orphy to my bets for this at 22/1 (20s boosted with William Hill).
I now have three for this race:
1) Never Adapt @ 25/1 – injured
2) Adjali @ 33/1
3) Pick D’Orphy @ 22/1Very happy with that
January 15, 2019 at 13:39 #1392585Skybet have installed Beaumec De Houelle as 8/1 2nd Fav………
January 15, 2019 at 16:59 #1392595Skybet are NRNB so that’s why. There’s no chance of him being bought as they won’t sell and it would have to be for a 7-figure fee anyway.
Pick D’Orphy is now the biggest bet of the festival for me as I’ve gone in again on the 12s with Skybet NRNB.
January 26, 2019 at 14:21 #1393794Well, that was rather impressive by Fakir D’Oudairies. He’s now 6-1 favourite. Vautour, I bet you’re happy with your bet on Pic D’Orhy give his form has been franked. Who is training Pic D’Orhy i.e. has he transferred to a British / Irish trainer?
January 26, 2019 at 14:23 #1393796Oops. I accidentally reported myself for inappropriate conetent. doh! I see Nicholls is training Pic D’Orhy
January 26, 2019 at 14:51 #1393807And I think my comment was meant for Middle of March not Vautour (having a nightmare)
January 26, 2019 at 14:59 #1393810You’d have to wonder how the likes of Adjali has been given a handicap mark of 147. It’s no wonder ratings are becoming more inflated in NH racing every year
January 28, 2019 at 07:34 #1394021Sorry bud – only just seen this.
Yes Nicholls trains him. Through Quel Destin, he’s well clear of a fair few of these just running to form.
He beat current favourite Fakir Doudaries by 15 lengths giving him weight.
The horse is my biggest bet in years (since One For Arthur’s National) and the 12/1 NRNB is the most incredible price I’ve ever seen. I can’t claim to have found the horse myself – that was elsewhere – but I’ve gone through the form since quite a few times and I think he’s just an unbelievable bet.
I’d expect it’ll be the Adonis first, and then the Triumph.
January 28, 2019 at 11:45 #1394033I’ve taken some of the 12s with SkyBet NRNB as a start to this race for me. Adonis will be his test, if he passes that with flying colours he’s a 3s shot, if he doesn’t he probably won’t run.
I don’t buy the 15L beating of Fakir as strict form, Cherel’s horses are stepping forward for a move over here it seems, and the style of racing is completely different, but his form has been franked a good few times by different horses so i have to have a go. Nicholls done it before with Zarkander so it’s very possible he may do so again.
January 28, 2019 at 11:57 #1394035Agreed Kev–been on for awhile thanks to another forum thread elsewhere.
No idea really about the horse or how the other 4yos will progress but worth a go.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 2, 2019 at 16:19 #1394890I’ve joined the Coeur Sublime backers.
The fall doesn’t bother me- he’s not a bad hurdlerFebruary 3, 2019 at 13:09 #1394983Not usually a race I get overly invested in, but both Sir Erec and Tiger Tap Tap will likely shorten up should they fill the first two positions today. Taken 6’s and 9’s respectively in the event they do just that.
February 3, 2019 at 13:37 #1394995Scintillating stuff from Sir Erec. 7/2 still looks a good price.
February 3, 2019 at 13:48 #1395002One’s shortened and the others gone out, so we’ll call it a draw!
