Tricast From Four

Sorry if this in the wrong section.

I have just done a tricast from four and I am confused as to how this works:

I picked the following:

Horse Racing
CURRAGH
18:25 HANDICAP (60-90) 5f
27th of June 2014 6:25 pm
Tricast From Four
Kernoff / Lady Mega / Pencil Hill / Kiss The Stars @ 4/1

Now Kernoff finished 1st
Lady Mega 2nd
and Pencil Hill 4th

Now I thought a tricast from four was picking three of them in order so I picked three out of four in order but Paddy Power are saying no, the live help doesn’t seem to be able to explain a tricast from four either.

So can someone please explain a tricast from four, do you need all four in order or all four to finish in the top 4.

You want any three of the four to finish in the first three. The order would be irrelevant.

Using the opener from Doncaster as an example, (albeit a forecast rather than a tricast)

Fruity / Hollie Point / Shahah
Fruity / Shahah / Shahralasal

Are both winners as they feature Fruity and Shahah who both finished first and second.
