Double figures for TRF today as we celebrate ten years to the day since Daylight became the first member of the forum he’d set up.
I’m delighted TRF is still around, I’ve made many friends who share my passion for horseracing through the site since I joined (although I’m a relative newcomer having only joined in 2003). I’ve greatly enjoyed being part of it, both as a contributing member and latterly as the administrator following Daylight’s sad passing.
Many, many thanks to you all for your continued support – here’s to the next ten years and to the memory of Craig.

Ten years is a fine achievement. I’d like to say thank you, not only to the many fellow contributors who’ve enhanced my knowledge hugely, but also to the excellent (albeit occasionally painful) work done by the moderators to keep TRF from going the swift way to hell. The fact that they manage this without making TRF terminally bland says much for their qualities.

December 21, 2010 at 22:30 #333506Congratulations to all involved on the upkeep of this Leviathan of racing fora – here’s to another 10 years.

December 22, 2010 at 01:20 #333529Well done, everyone in TRF, both organisers and contributors. I enjoy dipping in every day and exghanging information and opinion
December 22, 2010 at 07:01 #333538Congratulations to David and team. In its first decade, TRF has largely been populated by people who love racing and who can think for themselves. Long may that continue and here’s to the next 10 years.

Being a million miles away in the far east my interest in racing especially the flat was dwindling away until I came across this forum. .
I’m getting on a bit myself and you never know when your number is up but I promise if I die the first thing I’ll do is post and let you know.

Many many thanks to all concerned past and present.
