Good grief. When is the transfer window again?
January 5, 2020 at 17:20 #1479023Envoi Allen has been a great pick for loads of you, including TAPK, who takes the lead, and also Diamond Geezer, who’s got a great star horse on his hands.
Envoi Allen 26.10
January 5, 2020 at 18:06 #1479028I’d thought that the would be a new leader after Envoi Allen run, well done TAPK.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.January 5, 2020 at 19:57 #1479034This comp wont really get going till Cheltenham arrives Neil.. You have an incredible team pal.. I will need both subs to keep me in contention but anyone can win it yet.. Always great fun and thanks to Bobby VTC for keeping so smoothly run. Good luck all. TAPK of old would be the 4/5 fav only because of his legendary status.

You are 4/6 at Nathbet
Some were saying how quiet it is on TRF these days
I told them back in the day
Posters use to challenge TAPK to duels
and the loser would be sent packing from the Forum
TAPK won every time
Even Gingertipster chickened out on a few occasionsGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 8, 2020 at 17:34 #1479245Those were the days Nath.. I remember feeling like one a those trans atlantic gender fluid sorts at one of Harvey Weinsteins parties when I first joined.. As for daring to call myself TAPK.. The wrath and constant barracking I endured.. Nowadays it would cause ptsd but alas I dared suggest that Art Conneisseur would win the Golden jubilee at 40/1 as an introductory post and well.. The King was born..Having Nathan..”I stare in the face of adversity” Hughes as my wingman encouraged me more..
January 9, 2020 at 17:48 #14793549yrs ago now Bob.. We discussed the Kim muir a couple of months prior to race day and agreed to get on at 16/1..I remember backing him at all prices down to 5/1..He went of 100/30 fav on the day and did a Slip Anchor.. Old Faasel had gone to Pipes yard too and he was available at 66/1 on the morning of the race. Backed into 20s..Funnily enough I was thinking the other day that I could write a book on my Ante-post coups of the past 40 yrs. Nobody in the history of the world has landed so many as me.. It cant be just luck pal..
January 9, 2020 at 18:17 #1479363It would be a good read Gord lol
16-1 he was right enough, I’m away to watch it right now lol
January 11, 2020 at 14:29 #1479577I was surprised that Frodon only got one selection, but he looks a good one for Buckers.
Frodon 27
January 12, 2020 at 15:44 #1479648Very much like Frodon yesterday, I’m surprised that Andy Dufresne and Carefully Selected only got one selection each, but THM and Cian won’t be complaining.
Andy Dufresne 21.5
Carefully Selected 21.4January 18, 2020 at 18:48 #1480191Great three way tussle at the top, and Defi Du Seuil stretches the lead forcthe top Three, with TAPK still in control.
Elsewhere Thomas Darby scored for Steve, while I benefited from Ballyandy getting up at the last moment.
Minella Indo scores for a few of you, including Grey Desire, who scores double.
Ballyandy 27.9
Defi Du Seuil 26.8
Minella Indo 11.30
Thomas Darby 27.9January 19, 2020 at 17:40 #1480256Another nice win for Real Steel today, and a very decent pick from Mark, who’ll be eyeing another big win before the seasons out.
Real Steel 22.6
January 22, 2020 at 08:20 #1480483Hi Bob, a couple of questions concerning the transfer window.
1 If you put your transfer in early and your old horse runs in the intervening time before the new selection starts scoring does it still scores?
2 The window closes on the 8th of February, do we have to have our transfers in before racing starts on that day, or before racing starts on the next day the 9th?
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.January 23, 2020 at 17:25 #1480610Benie Des Dieux an easy winner today for plenty of you, including Graham, who scores double points.
Benie Des Dieux 22.10
January 25, 2020 at 16:59 #1480825Not surprisingly, lots of movement today.
Rummy is back in front, but GDC and Hot Fuss really bursting out the pack.
Too many to mention with Paisley Park, Santini and Bristol De Mai, but well done to all of you, including Krypton and Wyldesyde who had Santini as star horse.
Elsewhere, Tonge got a nice score from Ramses De Teille, while Grass has a nice horse on her hands with Allaho.
The Big Chase of the day, The Skybet, went to Ok Corral, who was a big scorer for Kev.
Allaho 11.2
Bristol De Mai 12
Ok Corral 35.3
Paisley Park 51.6
Ramses De Teille 21.6
Santini 52January 26, 2020 at 15:35 #1480920Great day for Cian with Carefully Selected and The Big Getaway both scoring at Naas. Very nice picks Cian, played.
Carefully Selected 21.6
The Big Getaway 11.3January 26, 2020 at 19:04 #1480937I know that it makes sense to wait, but I’m going on holiday for a fortnight, so I will make my swaps just now VTC
