Yes, CAS a deserving winner. Fine wordsmithing and a reader of Spiked and Private Eye to boot :good:

Gosh, I only just thought to check this thread!

My thanks to everyone who nominated me and voted for me. I honestly did not expect this result. I am not used to winning things. A lovely start to the year!

I have only just got up although I was plane watching at 7am and couldn’t pull my eyes away from the black clouded wispy sky tinged with crimson for about an hour and just gawped and saw possibly 40 planes criss cross the horizon over Hammersmith. I have a beautiful sky view with no buildings obstructing it in my nest a stones through from Kensington Gardens. When the planes turn I see their full lights and then after they turn they flash at me on their wing tips and under the back fuselage.

Sorry I got a bit carried away !

Congratulations to CORKY for a late rally up the inside to snatch the crown from Davies. Tippi was putting a late fun up the little favoured far rail. But it was Corky who had the momentum.

You cannot get away from his impact.

I was very pleased to pick up 3 votes as a self declared wastrel and fraud and me trying to rip up the lounge. It just shows some people like a BADEE. ( I worked out who was behind my 2nd and 3rd but slacked on the first one ) THANKEE ALL

A small matter – A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL YE MERRY GENTLEMEN AND LAYDEES AND NOT FORGETTING THE GO GET ‘EM GESTAPO :rose:
