Value Is EverythingDecember 24, 2021 at 12:10 #1574258You run a free forum, you set up a fun, but time-consuming, vote, your integrity gets called into question.
Poor, very poor.
To be here is to trust the forum’s owner – simple as that.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"December 24, 2021 at 14:00 #1574290To be fair, I think Tank’s questioning the (coming) result was about people (in his opinion) being able to have two or more accounts – therefore two or more votes… He was not calling forum owner’s integrity into question.
But I think David has previously answered the suggestion anyway.

Well I’d certainly like to think that admin wouldn’t allow brand new members -there was another on here last night after midnight who has never posted anything- to vote on these awards; that would just be silly.
I have faith in David and Robin to check on this. Anyone who can log in can vote; so they need to keep alert

To slightly change a well-known line … Ask Matron he will tell you.

December 29, 2021 at 03:40 #1575319In the year 2525, if man is still alive
If woman can survive, they may find
One or two digits can make
all the difference in the world – it’s just time..We have all the time in the world
Time enough for life
To unfold all the precious things
Love has in store
We have all the love in the world
If that’s all we have
You will find
We need nothing more
than TIME but not
All the time in the world
We do not have
All the time in the world
But on a lazy Xmas evening
When no-one stirs and
no single breath is heard
it may seem like we have
All the time in the world
We have all the time in the
WORLD
Daan de lee daan dan daanDecember 30, 2021 at 00:49 #1575429In the spirit of Xmas I have just added a further 500 years by adjusting the digits.
I suppose next week a lot of people will be back on the treadmill. Some long enjoyable days until then.
December 30, 2021 at 17:32 #1575542It’s very interesting the little bee Tank has only posted once today and once yesterday but the day before fifteen posts. Is this a bad omen for someone. His last two freudian posts comprised the words.
US and them
( Us eh ?)“I hate everything about you”
( Someone in mind ? )‘And one night he sat down with one of them and he looked at her and he said, “Tell me what you’ve been doing busy little bee or I shall strike down those dearest to you. You shall watch as I bathe in their blood.” And the emperor was heartbroken. The little bee had wounded him more deeply than anyone else could ever have done. And what do you think happened then, Lucius? ‘

Thankfully only step on the treadmill when it suits me these days, so next week doesn’t worry me. Musselburgh to visit on Monday as one of the ‘privileged few’.

Did he win the Grand National?
Value Is EverythingDecember 31, 2021 at 23:08 #1575838Of course more of working classes do get time to enjoy the full twelve days which ends on the 6th
I like you Rob can organise time off – it’s in the wastrel’s bible. The little bee on this occasion flew off without a care in the world. The flowers were not going to tell !
January 1, 2022 at 08:54 #1575888Many congratulations to Cork All Star, a thoroughly-deserved winner.
I’ve hugely enjoyed our discussions this past year and look forward to many more in the years to come.
Many thanks to David and the moderating team for running this vote and for their ongoing tireless voluntary efforts in continuing to provide this great free website.
It is his and their daily gift to all of us and gifts should be appreciated and never taken for granted.
Happy New Year everyone.
