August 5, 2018 at 17:25 #1362339Might need a bit of help in the York ebor/International comp as I’m off work and looking to go away for a few days.

August 5, 2018 at 18:44 #1362347Nathan, I can’t speak for the others but my score is wrong. Did you add double points for Vale Of Kent as he was my nap. This should take me to 79 points for the day’s score and 208 points for the competition.

August 5, 2018 at 21:08 #1362352Thanks Nate,

That makes me leading score for Saturday

It’s a pity I didn’t back any as I thought it might be best to look elsewhere for a bet.

Check out my selections for Jac’s 3 winners on Saturday for those that had my money on.
P.S. Kimberella won today instead of yesterday.

August 6, 2018 at 00:55 #1362362That’s an impressive score Steve, absolutely coasted home on the bridle

Nathan, if you end up being away at the Ebor/International meeting,
I’ll try and pitch in and cover whatever days you need covered. I’m
a big competition fan, so for all the work you put in, it’s the least
I can do. Although leaving me at the helm in your absence? It’s a bit
like that Dr Pepper advert, what’s the worst that can happen
August 6, 2018 at 10:57 #1362364Well done Steve
Ascot and Goodwood very impressive and hope you had some good bets on those picks.
Also Canford and Goodfellow for reaching the Podium in this very tricky compy, just one bad day and your out.
Happy too finish in 8th position behind BigG, thanks for a great contest Nathan and look forward to York.
@Nathan
I would be happy score up the whole of the Thursday York meeting for you on the 23rd if it helps,so you can put your feet up but Friday 24th and Saturday 25th I’m at Newmarket and have my own comp to score. If Graham could perhaps do the Friday and someone else volunteer for the last day we would have you covered.
Alternatively a Cunning Plan would be….:mail:
…to post our own scores after the racing for the York Meeting, it only takes a minute (in my case a second) to work out how your horses have run and it would be a huge help to yourself and everyone who helps out to get the Leaderboard up quickly. We all check our scores anyway as RedRum has demonstrated
and it would be a nice gesture for yourself who, as Big G says, and we would all agree, puts so much hard work into these marathon comps every year.Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 6, 2018 at 11:11 #1362366WD Steve what a score! I didn’t see which way the winner went but as usual fun to put up selections, thanks Nathan
August 6, 2018 at 12:59 #1362371Nathan, I can’t speak for the others but my score is wrong
Unfortunately my score is correct. I was hoping Nathan had missed 124 points but sadly not to be. Many thanks again Nathan for running the comp and well done Steve again on winning it

Don’t see a problem with this and future comps. Although a check may be needed on the scores for any accidental or dare I say it deliberate mistakes. Unfortunately I’m away for most of the Ebor meeting so probably won’t enter anyway.
August 6, 2018 at 15:10 #1362378Great tipping Steve, well done and many thanks Nathan for running the competition mate
August 6, 2018 at 17:24 #1362380Very consistent scoring, Steve, well done

Hope you had some money on your choices
Homer, I checked yours and Steve’s score for Saturday and it was right. (D’oh)
Mine would have been correct too, except he missed my Nap, but to be honest Steve was on fire (not literally ) and the was no touching him.
Nathan, I’ll try and give support for the scoring on the Ebor, but work and personal matters means it might not appear to late evening. Also I’ll post my personal scores.
