First two because they have a similar outlook to me on racing / betting.
Used to meet Alan quite a bit at the races and (along with his books) has taught me a lot.
Simon Rowlands because I would like to know more about sectional times and other stuff Timeform related..
Have met Hoiles too and found him easy to get on with, knows more about “Racing” than most commentators and because he has a photographic memory; suspect there are many stories he could tell.
But mainly because after the doors open I’d be a better punter.

Sadly we no longer here from them very often these days.
