Second dart –
Activial 25/1
Like my first fancy O O Seven, he was running well in the Ultima for a long way. Want a prominent runner which he is, form with Kildisart is good and think he’ll go well at a price.
April 4, 2019 at 17:36 #1416125My dart is Flying Angel won a grade one here before ran ok last time think go well tomorrow 16/1
April 4, 2019 at 18:27 #1416133I got 2 antepost in this. Ballyhill 14s ew, Call It Magic 16s ew
April 5, 2019 at 00:12 #1416196My first pair balloted out.
I really like Sub Lieutenant here, back in a handicap, mark looks fair on some of his better runs (and there have been some good ones), and if he can go with usual prominent style, he looks way overpriced. Call Me Magic looks rock solid, while I keep going back to Voix Deau, and I’d hate myself if I missed him.
Not quite as big a betting race as usual for me, as it was all about Theatre Territory, until he missed out (by bloody one), though I will have a good swing at Sub Lieutenant at that price.
Janika is a big hope of mine, but I’ll let him go at those odds
Call Me Magic 12’s
Sub Lieutenant 33’s EW 6 Places
Voix Deau 80’s EW 4 PlacesApril 5, 2019 at 01:15 #1416197I was all set to have a punt on sub lieutenant earlier but watched the ryanair again and they looked to give him a very hard race in an attempt to spoil frodons
Meant it became a no bet race for me
Or at least at this stage anyway
April 5, 2019 at 09:14 #1416207I am on three here
BALLYHILL at 12/1
CALL IT MAGIC 16/1
KILCREA VALE 20/1
That is where my pin has landed!!
Good Luck Guys
April 5, 2019 at 09:19 #1416210Just the two for me; Double Shuffle and Forest Des Aigles for a bit of fun. One to enjoy, like every race over the National fences.
April 5, 2019 at 13:00 #1416253I’ve gone with Polidam at 28-1 EW. Thought he had a nice spin round a couple of weeks ago behind his stablemates giving them weight, and was allowed to coast home when beaten. Lower in the weights than last year too.
April 5, 2019 at 13:05 #1416256I spent a lovely 45 minutes or so reading through the form for this yesterday, and arrived at Born Survivor.
We’ve all been there, yeah!
It’s interesting, following the rest of you guys through the season, how alike my thinking is with some in particular, and I notice a few times when I spend time on a race and come to a conclusion, how often other people’s tips match mine, even with longer shots. Point of this ramble being, I like Forest Des Aigles as an each-way tickle, and it doesn’t surprise me that peter h does too! (He’s much better at this than I am as well).
April 5, 2019 at 13:22 #1416265I really liked Born Survivor for this too! Watched various replays etc and thought he would be a good sort for it. Meh!
April 5, 2019 at 13:27 #1416271I am with three ew in this after Valtor went to the big one.
Kilcrea Vale 20-1
Mercian Prince 33-1
Divine Spear 50-1April 5, 2019 at 13:34 #1416273I thought that Adrien Du Pont was better than his finishing position
last time out at Kempton, made a mistake and lost a his position, but he finished well
and that was a nice introduction back after a couple of months off. 14/1 seems a
reasonable bet. I also agree with Peter and Quelle Farce, I think Forset Des Aigles at
22/1 has a bit of a shout. Caught my eye at Ayr when he beat Monbeg River who went on and
ran a stormer in the Skybet H’cap chase. Has shown since that he can handle these fences,
and 22/1 6 places looks generous to me.April 5, 2019 at 15:25 #1416292With Voix Deau missing now, I’ll jump to Mercian Prince now at the 33’s ew.
April 5, 2019 at 15:43 #1416299I’ve joined you on Mercian Prince with those EW 33s- I’ve backed him a few times and wouldn’t like to miss him now.
April 5, 2019 at 15:45 #1416301This is my first bet on here
Cadmium 20-1 Win
The yard have had a good Aintree so far, and this looks like a very big price for him.
April 5, 2019 at 16:04 #1416310Grass, I keep going back to that Kempton run, I just had to have a wee bit on him.
I had a fair lump on Theatre Territory at 16’s, after my original 25’s, so since I didn’t put as much on as planned, after he was balloted out, I’ve buckled at the last minute, and added Woods Well, 25-1 win, to cover stakes.
April 5, 2019 at 16:18 #1416313WD All Jeff, that was easy
