I’m just a simple soul myself.

You mean “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd yeats. Another class song but not sure if this was a single

Blackbird was on their White Album and according to Spotify was about Civil Rights Movement and end of Racism. I don’t think it got released as a single, but it’s not a bad song unlike Revolution 9 which must have been a joke when they did it. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION

Homer I remember Right Said Fred doing Deeply Dippy on Pebble Mill At One back in the early 80’s

I know they had I’m Too Sexy but Deeply Dippy was their only number 1 in the UK and both are on the album UP.

Also a big fan of The Feeling since I heard them on radio a few years ago around Valentine time, but don’t know if they released singles.

The was one I was going to include in my list but thought too weird. Bring Me Edelweiss by Edelweiss which I first saw on James Whale show when it used to be on.

Legend of Xanadu used to play on my Radiogram and English Country Garden was in the top 40 back in the week I was born.
    Which shows my age
When I say my Radiogram, really meant my parents but that goes without saying ;-)

Homer one of my favourite tracks from BAND ON THE RUN is MAMUNIA but I like to call it PNEUMONIA listen to the lyrics and you probably guess why.

Where be that Blackbird to? I know where he be,
He be up yon Wurzel tree, And I be after he!
Now I sees he, And he sees I,
Buggered if I don’t get ‘en
With a gurt big stick I’ll knock ‘im down
    Blackbird I’ll ‘ave he!
