Done my homework, here goes…
HAYDOCK.. 12.40 My Moment…..good race in prospect, this is the front runner, but I think he only has the one gear. One gear not be enough to win this, confident LAY and a nice short price too.
LING…12.20 Ramamara… nice 2yo race This will front run, looks like. I think he will be picked up.
3.05 General Eliot… this is just too short a price. My reading of his form says he,ll be totally unsuited by AW.
1 PT LAY on each, if over 9/2 NO BET
December 18, 2009 at 22:29 #264438Hi Malkyboy, well done today, nightmare 4 me,lost my isp around the time just after my reply here, literary only just got back on drat.missed a good days laying.onwards and upwards as they say.there will always b another day’s racing.your in-depth research on the lays tomorrow make seance,i wonder what the trainers are thinking about, makes you think doesn’t it, I was talking to a young up and coming trainer we all know who used to play for England football team about twenty years ago,I met him in the Brighton racecourse car park, and he said, not football is a funny old game but, racing is also a funny old game to,he also discovered that in racing ""you have to lose to win"" ,ive never forgotten those wise words of wisdom, have you guessed who I am talking about, lol.regards

Glad to here you,re up and running again Gymcrack. I take it you,re talking about M. Channon, but surely he is not up and coming? In general I believe racing is very straight. In USA its even more straight
I follow the form so I would pick it up if it wasn,t so.Theories of conspiracy far outnumber the facts. Another 2 pts in the bag at Lingfield. Since slimming down to doing just two races a day, its gone really well. Never had this many days consecutive profit, ever.Onto tomorrow at Kempton…KEMPTON..2.45 Admiral Cochrane…..had lots of racing already, not much scope to improve more.
3.15 Spirit Of Love…. too immature to win yet. Probably our hero M. Channon,s will win it.
usuall terms. Drop me a line Gymcrack, we can talk in private. Get my email on the post.
December 20, 2009 at 11:23 #264645Hi Malkyboy, Yes you are spot on with your assumption of who i met in the Brighton car park.but as i said it was a long time ago,and he had only been training a short time.good day 4 u yesterday, good luck today at Kempton.regards

Single point profit yesterday, other one a non runner. Thats 12 pts profit since starting on 2-a day LAYs. Onto tomorrows racing… the comments I give after each selection are just generic, although true. Real reasons they are a LAY are much more complex.
Ffos Las… 1.05 On Borrowed Wings.. overall form I rate not too highly.
3.45 King Rufo… ran on the heavy in Ireland, we all know when they say heavy, it really is HEAVY! Expect him to be outpaced here.
KEMP..2.00 Peponi… debut run I don,t rate very high, should be outspeeded here.
normal terms… thanks you,re comments Gymcrack, al the best.

The last post was another 2 pts profit. No UK racing until Boxing Day, but there is racing in USA which has markets on Betfair. Picked a couple of LAYs at Hawthorne. Got you,re email Gymcrack and sent a reply, not heard anything since. So maybe my reply not get through?
HAWTHORNE.. (R1)..2 Carts Zenforus.. lacks opening pace, which is normally lethal over here.
(R3)..3 Perimeter Defense…up against better horses here.
stick to normal terms, the USA markets on Betfair are fast and hectic so be carefull.

The Boxing Day markets are fairly well formed, and we know the meetings likely to be on. Had a good look at the cards and these are my thoughts and picks for some great racing….
KEMP…1.55 Tchico Polos…basically not up to this class, his price just creeps in under our 9/2 cap.
2.30 Binocular…fully expect the Newcastle form to be upheld, and Go Native to improve even more. At this price he is a confident LAY..
WINC..12.35 Chilly Rose…up against some very promising horses who have already ran over hurdles. Too much to ask FTO over hurdles.
3.55 Robin Will.. first race and up against Megastar who I rate a good un. Nice short price for a LAY.
HUNT.. 12.05 Chamirey… the extreme distance will find this one out. Not really a strong stayer.
LEOP.. 2.20 Osana.. just the quality of this race draws me to make a pick. On my reading Osana not up to this class.
normal 1 pt LAY on each, if over 9/2 NO BET..
Its high class tight, tight racing, but you either know something or you don,t, see how we do.

Here are my selections for tomorrows LAYs..
KEMP…1.00 Westlin Winds…. these are much better horses than he has already beat.
2.40 Fix The Rib….not up to this class, should be outpaced
SOUTH..12.10 The Love Guru… these are just much better than what he won against.
12.40 Star Promise…up against some AW street fighters here, won,t win
LEOP..1.25 Forpadyde….keeps getting beat, should do so here as well.
1.55 Some Present..same comments as above.
normal 1 pt LAY, if over 9/2 NO BET

All LAYs came good again, but only 4 count.Onto Mondays LAYs. There is a subtle effect, you can have great success doing a paper run in private, but as soon as you go LIVE things go haywire. Posting here I reckon is same test as going LIVE.
LEIC..1.55 Hard And Fast…small field and ground against this one.
3.05 Prince Taime…can,t see him reversing form with the one that beat him last time.
CHEP..12.25 Giles Cross…don,t tink he can beat Earth Planet.
3.20 Express Leader…form figures look great, but my reading says he is actually moderate.

WOLV..2.40 Pride Of Nation 3.15 Capricornus
LIMERICK 1.45 Enterprise Park
normal 1 pt LAY each,if over 9/2 NO BET.

Good to see you back in circulation Gymcrack! I grew up and went to school in Scotland, so been there done it! I like you,re question cause it could only come from someone with some knowledge. Sometimes you can tell by the style of running if a horse will like a small field, same for the going. So what happened to Hard And Fast? Got beat a distance. Be back much later with tomorrows LAYs. Today was just about level I see.Last two weeks not had a losing day.
all the best

Some really good racing tomorrow…
NEWB..12.00 Take The Breeze…this is tight, 3 miles round Newbury on soft, he,ll be caught.
1.00 Carruthers…same as above.
2.05 Manyriverstocross… the class of rivals, and the ground will get him beat.
SOUTH..12.45 Claddagh… always dangerous to LAY any M. Johnson runner, as I found only yesterday! He is up against improvers from other top stables is why he,s a LAY.
2.30 Angies Nap…blind man could see this will not stay.
normal terms..

Markets are better formed now. Had another look at the good Newbury card and came up with a another LAY..
NEWB..3.15 Doctor Pat.. this is too short, and has to be a LAY. Not cause he is too short, but on form he lacks the pace for this.
normal 1 pt LAY, if over 9/2 NO BET
