May I point out that I don’t get tetchy cos I take medicine for it…. I sneak it in after lights out, I wait until I hear Matron puffing because I know that he’s not going to stop in the middle of doing that…. then when the panting gets really audible, I slip past the office with my medicines, some might refer to it as contraband, but it really is medication…. I just keep it in a bottle with a label that says "Famous Grouse"……
As regards rolling the shorties through to get 2/1 as one step in the staircase, then yes I would….. again, as stated earlier, there are better bets than the horses to hit the shorties, but it would do no damage if you did include them, in fact, it could be an added bonus….

Nothing here for me today, as
Chuckypuds
said the selections were fewer with the higher number of meetings and so I shall wait.

Finding a runner supported by 3 naps priced 1/1 – 2/1 should not be that difficult but by golly it is proving thus.
I heard a comment recently which made no sense to me but I had to pay attention because it was something that worked for the individual.
Stake to win on the long prices but go each way on the shorties.
This has been churning with me for a long while as I tried to understand the concept and can only conclude the shorties get turned over more times than expected. So I thought I would try the concept out and see what happens.
Yesterday ZAIN SHARMADEL (7.55 Goodwood) was a 3 nap selection but way above the 2/1 max @ 3/1 and so I went e/w and it came 2nd. Had I staked to win all would have been lost but I was returned most of my stake.
Once more I have donned the tin hat waiting for the incoming but bear in mind it is not my theory I am just testing it!
So with this in mind I will again run with it (as they say).
3 napper but over priced at 100/30: –
Sandown 4.05 ALIS AQUILAE is staked e/w
I also liked the look of NIGHT CARNATION 3.30 Sandown. The price is in the correct area 13/8, it has 3 naps but not from in-profit tipsters and so could be worth 1/2 point punt.

Two noeworthy selections: –
3.25 Doncaster DORBACK but @ 9/2 is far too big
However!
2.00 Salisbury NIBANI
best early price 9/4 and most prices at 2/1 or less I think this is a goer
