Thabaat (7/2 FAV on BF) could just turn out to be a class apart from his rivals today. Normally I would have doubts of him staying the 7.5 furlongs well but frankly the opposition here doesn’t look up to much.  Hopefully master front runner Richard Hills will be able to ensure that he hugs the rails and goes the shortest distance around so as not to test Thabaat’s stamina too much.
In fact I wouldn’t be surprised to see Salient (15s) make the placings.
