    Good luck THM.

He"ll need a lot more than Luck to snaffle my shiny Gold crown encrusted with brightly coloured gems and a bit of (fake) fur around the rim! 8)

I see TAPK has fired off a couple of arrows destined for Cheltenham tonight, so I’ll shoot one of my own

This horse ran a courageous 5th in the race last year off a 6lb higher mark. He was 4th in the Hennessey. If Ruby can get him into a better rhythm than last year when he was never travelling then he’ll take a helluva lot of beating.

    Becauseicouldntsee £150 e/w –> + €300
    The Midnight Club £150 win 4-place insurance –> + €150
    The Midnight Club £150 e/w @ 12/1 –> + £600

    BALANCE £4750

The Midnight Club went agonizingly close today, but for a horrendous error down the back he may well have won.

The Cleeve Hurdle in my eyes is the most interesting contest of the day today, with the still unexposed Bensalem catching the eye. Only beaten twice over timber, he was ante post favorite for Weapon’s Amnesty’s Albert Bartlett in the past.
    Bet365 go 1/4 odds 1-2-3, €150 e/w @ 9/2.

In the Argento Chase, The Tother One makes plenty of appeal in the without Punchestowns market @ 11/4. He’s a consistent sort who’ll get every yard of the trip, and his three rivals have become inconsistent and unreliable. If Neptune Collonges is back to his old self he’ll carry these, but that’s a big if.
£200 win The Tother One @ 11/4 without Punchestowns.

    BALANCE £4250

Big Zeb is overpriced at 4/5 tomorrow. He has the beatings of Golden Silver and Sizing Europe will need to step up on anything he has achieved in the past. His Arkle win looks good now that Somersby has ran Mater Minded so close but he was well held at Punchestown last year by Golden Silver.

Just wrote about Big Zeb’s jumping on the Tied Cottage thread. It was sensational I thought. Still the one they’ll all have to beat come Cheltenham, and the 4/1 available form Ladbrokes is a gift, especially considering they’re going NRNB 1/4 odds 1-2-3

My first really big bet on this thread:

Big Zeb Queen Mother Champion Chase
    £500 e/w @ 4/1 NRNB 1/4 odds 1-2-3

£75 win Tornedo Shay in the next at Punchestown @ 11/4 Boyles BOG

    BALANCE £3000

I was thinking that myself THM, always needs a decent break between races and good to soft ground. Colm making excuses this morning based on the ground.

What’s happening with this thread, not seen his Highness for a while?

Looks like the men in white coats caught up with him and took him to the forum all annoying bastids end up….ask Ginger :D

Last I saw of him he was throwing abuse/accusations at Corm  and someone accusing him of causing posters to leave because he kept hi-jacking threads and turning them into I am the greatest punter in the world threads  Wasn’t like him.

Personally I found him very easy to take because I very seldom took anything serious and neither did he. Just a bit of banter to liven the place up but I must admit his last outburst was bordering on the ridiculous…shame if he’s gone but life goes on and so will the forum.

yes – but its a far less interesting place without him. Every good play needs a villain!

It’s a bit like the story of Joseph and his brothers. All ganging up to get rid of him and then missing him when he’s gone.

    Come back TAPK!!!

"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
