    Echo LD and BH’s last two sentiments.

    In particular Buailtes and Fadas’ demise should not be used as a stick with which to beat the cross-country race (Friday’s renewal of which, incidentally, was well above average quality-wise). We’ve had around 25 contests over the course now and this was just the second fatality in any of them – Leagaune’s fatal fall at the bank in the first ever race remains the only loss caused in the actual heat of battle.
