Mate of mine has been massively keen on Salford to win League 2. They’ve already signed Richie Towell who was a pivotal component of the Rotherham team last season. Rancid little club but they’ve got cash to burn and 12/1 now long gone.
Very early days TKF but ricks in prices can occur at this time of the year, I tend to focus on the PL and Championship so I don’t know a lot about League 2 but promoted sides can take the league by surprise.
I’ll be all over Taunton Town if a decent price for their league, newly promoted last season and lost in the play offs after missing out on automatic promoted on the last day of the season. I can understand talk that the newly promoted sides look likely to go back down but Brighton look the bet to me for relegation. The new sides may struggle with quality of squad and depth particularly as the season goes on but they will have confidence and nothing to lose going into the season, team spirit should be high and they can provide a shock factor. whereas Brighton were on the downgrade for a long time, they need a decent striker, Murray is another year older and struggle for goals. The centre backs are class but without scoring they won’t be winning. The new manager doesn’t strike me with much confidence either taking over this job will be tricky enough for anyone let alone someone with so little experience at this level.

Daz, I don’t think you’ll go far wrong with Uruguay in the Copa, looks a fair price, strong defence should see them in good stead.
African Cup of Nations I think Egypt are short enough, much prefer Senegal at 6/1, I’d be tempted to have a small play on them if I have a good day today.
