Pity there’s not a red faced emoticon 💀Marcus Rashford has been made guest editor of “The Beano” for the current edition.
His editorial states: “Nobody is a success in football without good teammates, and that’s true in life as well. Everybody needs to build a team of allies to have fun with and speak up for what’s important…Our voice is strong alone, but when our voices come together, we are powerful. When we fight for things that are important together, we can make progress a lot quicker than by ourselves..Instead of our differences dividing us, we embrace them here, and we find strength in them. We should be celebrating all things that make each of us unique.”
All very noble. But a bit serious for “The Beano”. I can’t help preferring it when Dennis The Menace was picking on Walter the Softy.
Although Rashford has raised a lot of money to provide free books to school children, so fair play to him for doing that.

When did that happen.”That was a bit of dramatic licence from myself. It is more like a letter from Rashford to the readers published within the comic.
