Were good us Brits, ain’t we?
3.4 billion on an airport, and it don’t work!
What chance have we got of getting the Olympics to work?
2012 could be very embarassing.

March 28, 2008 at 23:58 #154398It is amusing that what they have created doesn’t actually seem capable of functioning as an airport (which presumably was at least part of the original aim of the project).

They could have just used the Millenium Dome, no need to build another waste of space.
April 2, 2008 at 15:29 #155187Actually Dave, after a ridiculous lack of forethought or proper planning, the O2 Dome is now a fabulous venue.
It does defy belief that it took them so long to get round to it though…
April 3, 2008 at 08:06 #155329Whatever they use the dome for, it only really concerns people who live in the SE of England, its a waste of time and money for everyone else.
April 3, 2008 at 11:05 #155368Agreed.
