If these were the favourites for the Grade 1 Dr PJ Moriarty at Leopardstown later in January you wouldn’t be surprised. Instead we’re treated to their clash in a beginners chase tomorrow.
I’ll be interested to see if much of the crowd goes home before the last as is the norm, as anyone who leaves before this tomorrow would want a very good reason. A real cracker of a race to end the card.
It must be doubtful we’ll get anything near as good a beginners chase before the end of the season as these good novices move into graded company, hopefully the three will run their race and stand up (unlike today’s novice hurdle).
Sutton Place is the one for me, he has looked a potential star and should be favorite for me. Unlike the others it’s his fencing debut but Bacardys’ jumping was poor last time and Snow Falcon looks like he’s going to be a shade below the very top rung, as he was over hurdles.
I’m going racing so hoping they pass an early morning inspection.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 27, 2017 at 23:01 #1334417Bacardys is some animal he lost so many lengths with his jumping the last time yet for a brief moment still looked in with a chance at the business end. He’ll have to improve his jumping ten fold but does have the master trainer. Like Jack says not a confident betting opportunity but I’d suggest taking the camera Tommy.
Have a good day.Charles Darwin to conquer the World
