This doesn’t feel exactly the right race for Val Dancer, but I’ve covered him anyway. Hopefully beat the price tomorrow
Not feeling like two in this, but eye drawn to Aworkinprogress, who I like for Punchestown, and Invincible Nao
Val Dancer 15-2
January 18, 2026 at 21:51 #1750999WHISTLE STOP TOUR at 16/1 looks a big enough price to me. I like Jack Tudor in these staying handicap chases, he seems to have a really good knack for getting them jumping well and in a nice rhythm.
January 18, 2026 at 21:58 #1751001Art Decco seems progressive and 15/2 a fair price in an open race.
I’d be considering whistle stop tour myself were it not for the fact the stable form is poor just now.

Catch CatchfireAnd taking a chance that the unpredictable Regal Blue will respond to headgear
January 19, 2026 at 12:21 #1751029Sporting Ace 12/1 WIN
Catch Catchfire 12/1 WINJanuary 19, 2026 at 12:35 #1751031Thought i’d join in, with a couple of small wagers:
Makin’yourmindup 18s
Ivane 28s
Both win only, both with a Lads boostBest of luck to all
January 19, 2026 at 14:02 #1751039The winner has won for the fifth time over fences at Leafy.
January 19, 2026 at 21:17 #1751064A very close call, Joe, very bad luck. I think if Catch Catchfire had not faltered at the last two fences, he would have won. Tom
