Still raining but don’t worry so much about the weather at Newmarket unlike Ascot racing goes ahead. :good:
    Positive thoughts. ;-)

Frenchy she may or may not win but the ground is not Peaceful’s ideal conditions.

Handled it ok in the past, but i’d agree she clearly wants it better.

This could turn testing for the horses, and while CE handles heavy, there’s no doubt, she hasn’t proved she stays a testing mile. 7.5 at Gowran on soft heavy, wouldn’t quite be the same. Does have the best jockey on either side of the sea for me, so that’ll help a lot.

Peaceful on the other hand handles the going, and stays further than a mile.

So i’m hopeful, but not overly confident lol. :good:

The comments in running for CE of “ridden out and kept on well inside final furlong” and “stayed on strongly to lead well inside final furlong” on both fast and very slow ground last 2 starts gives me hope that CE will have the sufficient stamina. Murtagh didn’t seem overly concerned about the going this morning, but did respect all of the opposition saying the race was deep.

Money coming for Feliciana De Vega now 12/1 Frenchy still a good EW chance to have with Peaceful but friendless on the Morning show..not even a mention and all of them taking on Peaceful.
The fact that the money is coming I would have liked at least a comment about FDC and her chances but perhsps they wznt to keep it quiet. Will find out later.

Meanwhile..come on Peaceful B-) show them what you can do. :good:

Yes Mike cashed are 5-1 and bet again after declarations in case she went to the L’Opera.

The way she races you’d hope she’d stay, but it’s something she has to prove.

Peaceful has proven that and was coming back off a break.

I’m far from moores biggest fan, personally I think he’s been off the boil for 2 or 3 seasons, but I’m not sure you can blame him when his horse has finished last and hated the ground

Im not a fan of Ryan Moore either and he’s not been riding at his best this season but agree you can’t blame him for Peaceful’s defeat she was running on empty 2 furlongs from home and was eased. The best horse won. Sheikh Hamdam has had his best year ever and AOB his worst.

    :yahoo:

How she went off 9/1 I’ve no idea, annoyed I missed that price but that’s being greedy.

That Draw trend holds up again, trash it Mike if you want but there is a track bias at Newmarket no doubt in my mind, Nazeef got the best draw and the best position, that’s why she won.

You were right on Peaceful though, wow she hated that, was in trouble after about 3 furlongs. How anyone can anyone blame Ryan for that?! Wasn’t convinced in the breeding profile that Champers Elysees needed that test, be keen on her next year on decent surface if she stays in training

    Wd Frenchy.

Peaceful was poor, and regardless of the going, she just ran terrible. She’s ran decent on it before, so wouldn’t be dead-set on saying that was the reason for it.
