Anyone got any strong views on this? I’m a little unconvinced that Mohaather is a miler on his breeding. I like the look of Zaaki if it’s run on GF his recent form on that ground is 1121 and was second last year. SMS in good form as well
July 8, 2020 at 01:32 #1493192Zabeel Prince really appeals at the 10’s, but impossible to back before Final Decs with connections triple handed right now.
I’d consider him on the day, but I’ll definitely wait and see the price.
July 9, 2020 at 06:46 #1493270Zaaki 8-1 ew for me. The favourite likes ground on the easy side. Good or worse trainer says. So will take him on at this stage.
July 9, 2020 at 07:26 #1493274I’m hoping that Marie’s Diamond goes for the July Cup instead, but if he does
end up here at final decs later this morning I’ll be siding with him. He ran
well in 3rd in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes last time out over C/D. he’s 7/1
at the moment, if he goes here I’d hope I can get that.July 10, 2020 at 02:01 #1493422Very pleased I waited with Zabeel Prince.
Cracking lineup, and just struggling to dig one out here, but I’ll join you Graham, and go with Marie’s Diamond here at around 7’s.
Mohaather looks a very good one though.
July 10, 2020 at 07:18 #1493436Another one for Marie’s Diamond, from a tactical perspective these are all hold up horses aren’t they bar Marie’s Diamond? Could get a bit messy in behind and Fanning might be able to dictate the fractions, much easier to do on this round mile than the straight mile of the Queen Anne which places more emphasis on stamina. San Donato is a fascinating one lots of good form but missed most of last year and you’d think looking at his form and on breeding he might want some cut in the ground.
July 10, 2020 at 10:15 #1493447On Mohaather at 3/1 and I make him a 6/4 shot.
Think he will absolute piss in before moving on to better things after this.
July 10, 2020 at 10:51 #1493451I’d be fairly dissapointed if mohaather didn’t win this tbh and have taken some 5/2
And if the Sussex stakes is run with a bit of cut in the ground I’d fancy him for that too
July 10, 2020 at 11:21 #1493456Does anyone know who Louis Steward is? The jockey of Zaaki? Never heard of him!
July 10, 2020 at 11:52 #1493457He rides SMS horses when Moore, etc ain’t there
July 11, 2020 at 08:13 #1493569I took the 15/2 for Marie’s Diamond with Betvictor yesterday, but he’s available
at 9/1 this morning. I’ve had another nibble, I think if he gets out
well he’s going to be hard to peg back. He did well taking 3rd in the Group 1
Queen Anne and Mark Johnston’s stablen is flying at the moment.July 11, 2020 at 08:48 #1493590Every ground condition this week has been against me and it looks like it will be again here. I would’ve been very keen on Zaaki on GF. As it happens I’m not so confident now but I will just take a chance the ground drys up enough in the straight to GF before 3pm as I need to bet now being out with the kids all day!!
Zaaki EW 8/1
July 11, 2020 at 09:59 #1493600I’ve added Marie’s Diamond ew in the without favourite market.
July 11, 2020 at 10:03 #1493601You can make a case for lots of these runners but 9/1 about Marie’s Diamond seems way too big so have thrown him in a little each way double with Hello Youmzain in the July Cup.
July 11, 2020 at 10:13 #1493602I’ll go with the favourite here, I think he could develop into a really nice horse, but I’ll take Lord Glitters as a backup
July 11, 2020 at 15:26 #1493633Winner impressive. The ground mustve been nice and safe. Wd winners.
July 11, 2020 at 15:42 #1493641Whoosh
Went past them like they were standing still
Siskin vs mohaather at Goodwood could be a belter
Just a shame he got no run at ascot as I was on at double figure prices
