Cork Champs had 2 opps on his back , he was disappointing yesterday but both his runs he hurdled really well , that would confirm he ain’t seen a fence in a while , he might not win the stayers but he,d be competitive , he,d have no chance in the GC , they also risk his back again and may finish his career
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 8, 2022 at 22:20 #1582179Champ taken out of the Gold Cup, so confirmed he runs here.
February 9, 2022 at 08:46 #1582191I can’t get my head around CHamp. Strange! Just me?
February 20, 2022 at 19:49 #1584031I’ve added one more here. I was looking forward to seeing Darver Star in the flesh at Navan today, but the weather went against us. I think that 40/1 non runner no bet is worth taking
February 25, 2022 at 16:54 #1584688This looks rife for an upset this year. Song For Someone somehow finds himself 50/1. Always looked a bit short of Champion Hurdle class, although the step up in trip was always bound to suit at some stage. 3 miles could suit by now, having seen his form tail off at the minimum trip. He’s got course form and I can’t see him unbacked at the price. Not heard confirmation that this is the plan although NRNB makes it worth a play.
February 25, 2022 at 19:52 #1584717Klassical Dream for me. Mullins admits to making a rare mistake running him last time when not ready. He’ll be cherry ripe for this and will inevitably shorten when the champion trainer fires in plenty of winners on the Tuesday and Wednesday.
March 9, 2022 at 07:33 #1586215Maybe I am crazy but I have had a bit on Commander of Fleet at 66/1 with Hills. He is also entered in the Coral Cup but this distance looks to suit him better and of course it is NRNB now.
He was good enough to split Minella Indo and Allaho in the 2019 Albert Bartlett. It has not gone his way since but he won a decent race earlier in the season and he stayed on well into third in a good race last time.
With doubts over all the market leaders, this looks like a race that could produce a result and I like the look of a strong stayer at a price.
March 9, 2022 at 13:21 #1586236Good luck Wilts with your 50-1 on Paisley Park. I put him up on the ante-post competition at 40-1. I eventually took 33-1, and I was very pleased with myself. I hope that you’re a bigger punter than me and have a nice amount on. The very best of luck to you
March 9, 2022 at 13:53 #1586247Cheers Kris
No, i’m not a big punter in terms of amounts bet. I’ve followed this forum for years; many insightful guys in here. Saturdays are my main betting days, the odd punt in the week. Cheltenham in the past was a Gold Cup attendance day with mates, an all-dayer and most of the evening
Then, about 10+ years ago, my wife and I used to go there on the Thursday, but for last 7, 8 years havent bothered. Too rammed and i punt better at home.
I think PP will need the ground to have soft in it for sure, but it looks an open race to me. Hopefully, there’s a repeat of the other week from PP, other than the reluctance to start!
March 9, 2022 at 19:54 #1586299Just placed an e/w on Songforsomeone at 50s. An outright punt
March 17, 2022 at 12:23 #1588012Champ is in plenty of my antepost bets at 20s and 10s so hoping he can run a big one , Klassical dream is also covered antepost so played safe with flooring porter in today’s accas , it’s wide open
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 17, 2022 at 12:33 #1588024I think Flooring Porter wins it, however Paisley Park has been a joy to follow and has done right by me on plenty of occasions, not least in this race 3 years ago. 3 years!?

He’s a nice each way price and on a going day is very hard to beat.
March 17, 2022 at 13:07 #1588043Flooring Porter’s trainer is generally not in good form at the moment and connections seem worried the crowd will get to him too (no crowd last year). Probably needs to lead to produce his best. More negatives than positives for a favourite.
With poor last time outs by so many of the better horses may be an each way on Thyme Hill is the safest bet.
Best unsafe bet Paisley Park. Last time seemed to suggest the form is still there, just temperament holding him back. If jumping off and if in the right mood… If looking as if wanting it his odds could half after a furlong.
Value Is EverythingMarch 17, 2022 at 13:13 #1588047Ginge i can’t see why Thyme hill will reverse with form with Champ , plus he ran like a drain in France , that’s the thing they,ve all got a question over them ….gone are the days of big bucks or inglis drever …..ah inglis drever , he saved Cheltenham 2005 for me along with Arcalis
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 17, 2022 at 13:15 #1588049Can’t decide between Klassical Dream and Thyme Hill so have backed both.
Champ has the age stat to overcome and I am not convinced Flooring Porter is that good. He also has signs of temperament and last year’s renewal was not strong. I reckon Klassical Dream and Thyme Hill are better than him.
Paisley Park has been a wonderful horse but I cannot believe the race will fall into his lap like the Cleeve did.
March 17, 2022 at 15:28 #1588186Come on the Oscar!
I’ll add old Koshari ew 4pl. Horses he has beaten in the the past – Valseur Lido, The Storyteller, The Shunter – the latter two at levels. He copes with soft too.
March 17, 2022 at 15:29 #1588187Thyme Hill 11-2 ew, Flooring Porter 11-1 ew.
