In retrospect, his performance at Xmas behind Klassical Dream, despite giving away significant ground at the start, was the key to this race; his hurdling was also very slick.
March 17, 2022 at 16:46 #1588241The writing was on the wall after just 2 hurdles. Once he gets to lead and gets into a rhythm he’s near unstoppable.
The horses jumping is unbelievable around Cheltenham,as good as any champion hurdlers.

Value Is EverythingMarch 17, 2022 at 17:27 #1588265Danny is surely a better jockey than Patrick and should be getting better rides from willie
March 18, 2022 at 09:46 #1588406Danny Mullins with the ride of the festival so far. That was a peach. Klassical Dream didn’t stay, the rest are just not good enough.
March 18, 2022 at 10:04 #1588414A very strong contender for Ride of the Year in the the TRF Awards.
I reckon all the leading contenders in the Stayers division are much of a muchness. The difference was one got an outstanding ride yesterday after being allowed an uncontested lead.
I feel a little sorry for Thyme Hill. He is a thoroughly admirable and consistent horse but he keeps on finding one too good.
