I saw the race. It did not look like he had broken a leg, so I was hopeful he would be OK. Sad to hear he did not make it.
He was a good horse. One of those handicappers with a bit of character, held up and coming with a late run. He usually won once or twice a year and you had to guess when it was. Thankfully I did one day at Haydock, when he landed me a nice bet.
I am sorry to hear that he has gone. Condolences to his connections.
