Lets suppose you are a good thinking citizen, you have come forward and had the experimental two Jabs

Last week you had your booster

    All tickety boo

You have holidays booked in Turkey

But as from Tues your jabs mean nothing

You matey have to take a test before you go and a couple when you get back

WHOA. THATS WHY YOU HAD THE SILLY JABS. TO AVOID ALL THIS CRAP

But now you have to pay out about another 600 pounds to your family hol

Oh yes. What is this man thinking as he watches ministers say its only short term

The jabs mean nothing. It would seem

If you are him. How do you feel about Borris and his govt right now

    Has he been played??

I haven’t had my jabs (I’m getting my booster next week) so that I can travel. I have had them for one simple reason: so that if I contract the disease, I am less likely to get seriously ill.

I also wear a mask, so that if I am carrying the disease, I am less likely to spread it to others; this is because I’m not a selfish prick.

Now, how many f***ing Covid threads do we need?

Probably a lot more by the gist of your reply

Thank you for showing your colours

The dark side is still thriving

We must send them to another planet, perhaps Australia where unless you are a member of the elite, you are treated like a chinese peasant

To be honest I think anyone booking a holiday abroad these days should take into account that the situation is changing constantly. In fact, even booking a holiday in the U.K. isn’t yet exactly risk free.

All true. But changing rules midweek that have no bearing on the spread of Omicron as its here

What it does achieve is buggering up travellers and lining their mates pockets

This gov is a dictatorship. They do not want you to fly , unless you are part of the elite , in which case you are exempt

Meanwhile josephine bloggs is not too amused

She has had three jabs and still she has to go through hoops

    Enough surely 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I totally agree about the government being a dictatorship.

“But changing rules midweek that have no bearing on the spread of Omicron as its here”

Do you really not understand basics, Ricky?

Omicron is already here but currently only in a relatively small amount. Effectively inviting travellers infected with the virus in to the UK would obviously have a massive bearing on the the spread of Omicron here. The exact opposite to what you claim.

Hospitals are always at their busiest in Winter – don’t want hospitals full up… And we don’t want Christmas to be cancelled either. So the more we can do to slow Omicron down without buggering up the economy too much the better… Sadly it needs to be done now because if Omicron is more dangerous than Delta then waiting until certain of its dangers will be too late.

…However, of course if Omicron turns out to be less dangerous – then restrictions can be lifted earlier.

The pubs are open at the moment. Nobody knows if they will be closed again soon – can’t see it myself, mind

I do love a good pint, a roll-up and a proper coughing session

I may have made the last bit up 😉
