    Perhaps someone might please explain to me why the weights have been raised a pound this year :?

    Bigger, fatter jockeys?

    I do recall reading something about it earlier this year but didn’t take much notice of it.

    It didn’t apply to this years Derby but I wonder if it will next year.

    Seems like a bit of unnecessary tinkering to me, a bit like what they did with the stalls draw.

    Aah…I wonder if the weights in top staying races will rise in line with Joseph O’Brien’s weight?
