    I’d just be concerned for Scandinavia in open company next year that he wears the headgear, he needed a strong pace today and still looked beat a few times, stamina won the day. They aren’t an amazing bunch in open company to be fair and Trawlerman isnt getting any younger so maybe he’ll do ok but a lot of those classier stayers had a turn of foot that could win when the Gold Cups etc turned into relative sprints. I don’t think this fella does but Aidan will probably just sacrifice somebody else for him anyway, turn them into absolute slogs and tell us he’s the fastest stayer he’s ever trained or something ;-)
